They are assembled for strength and durability. These are a great set of lineman's and I definitely plan to buy more from hyper tough tools. Would highly recommend to anyone on or off a budget. My husband works in the shipyard so I had to get his opinion on these and he said they get the job done! They're wea little chunkier than he would prefer which is why it's a 4 star. As you can see they have definitely been put to work! I think for the price it is definitely worth it!

These pliers are very sturdy. They're sharp and cut through a variety of nails and screws. The grip is comfortable, as a left handed person. I just wish the length of the handle was longer. They're not too heavy, but not the lightest I've used. Where the hinge is, the pliers have metal shavings coming out of the product. Considering the brand it's good quality for the price you'll pay for them.

I was surprised to get these and see that they aren't really what I would describe as “diagonal” or “pliers.” They are definitely more like a type of snip or cutter. Not that that's a bad thing at all, just not what I expected. They are super strong and sturdy though, good leverage for sure! I was able to test them and cut through a nail like butter. Using them to try and grasp anything to pull doesn't work though since the whole thing is sharp. It just cuts immediately.
