I was looking for a smaller, lightweight saw for doing small trim work around the house so I didn't have to lug my huge 10" or 12" compound miter saw around the house. This saw perfectly fit the bill. It comes with a coarse blade so keep in mind you may have to replace the blade if doing fine cuts or trim work. The blade it came with was really on there so it took some serious elbow grease to get the nut loose to get the blade off. The saw is really easy to operate and the blade and cuts are straight and true. Definitely worth the investment for smaller projects!

I'm just a weekend DIYer, but for what I need, this thing is awesome! Really wish I purchased this years ago. I mainly use it to cut 2x4s and it makes it so easy. I will have need to make angle cuts and am certain that I'll be able to make the perfect cut with this. It exceeded all of my expectations

This miter saw is one of my favorite tools. I purchased it because I am replacing most of the trim in my 50-year-old house and wanted it for many other remodeling projects as well. I did a lot of research before my purchase as I have never used a miter saw before. The price was less than many other brands, so I was a little hesitant selecting this one, but this saw did not disappoint. Because my first project was cutting trim, I did purchase a very high quality ultra sharp finish blade and installed it before the first use. It worked beautifully. I have not used the multipurpose type of blade that came with it yet, so I cannot speak for the blade quality at this point. I will be cutting some wire shelving soon, and plan to try the original blade out on that. After working on the ground cutting trim for a while, I purchased the Hyper Tough Miter Saw Stand. It was amazing as well. I am really glad I selected this brand.

Was doing some remodeling. When it came to window trim I wasn't sure how to get the 45deg cuts for the corners to make it look decent. Certainly not good enough to use a circular saw or jig saw. Don't have a miter box. Looked at wal mart and here was this saw for under$100. Had it delivered same day. Everything was set true and square out of the box. Plugged it in and made a few practice 45 cuts. Perfect joint. Not sure about blade that came installed. Haven't used it yet. Bought a finish blade for the trim. Blade change is quick and easy. Hope saw lasts for years. I will only use occasionally. Not an everyday user so can't speak for that.

very light and fairly accurate saw. laser is hard to see in daylight and shows the Kerf of the blade. I replaced the blade immediately before using with a 40 tooth blade, for much cleaner cuts . it's easy to use, easy to carry, but it has unconventional miter adjuster. works, but unconventional. deck height is same as 2x4 height, so easy to make straight cuts or miter cuts on boards that you rest ends on 2x4 pieces. for under $100, this is a very useful saw. As I said though, you will want to install a better blade

This saw was the berries. It's cost was great, but the ease of usage was remarkable. I have never had such an easy to use saw. I was very impressed.

I bought this saw for small projects, without a workshop it's easy to haul back and forth outside. It was much better than I expected, cuts hardwood with ease. The saw blade that comes with it isn't the highest quality, but that's an easy fix. 😏👍 Great little saw.

I'm not a DIY kinda guy but decided to tackle putting in some laminate in my porch AKA cigar lounge. I knew I wouldn't use one regularly so I thought this was the best value for me. The blade diameter isn't large enough to cut the laminate in one cut but turning it over to make the complete cut wasn't a big deal. Impressive power and nice to have the laser guide. One con - the dust catcher doesn't work. It blows everywhere. Handy people could probably come up with a solution. All in all...a solid small project saw at a good price.

it will not work for 1x4 or 2x4 lumber. it is basically for small trim boards. it is good with the laser guide and easy operation. anything bigger than 4" lumber i suggest the 10" miter saw which will most likely be my next purchase.
