I bought this to remove the front covers from seized spincast fishing reels. It works really well, without damaging the plastic parts. It's the perfect size and fits in my reel repair bag. It's adjustable, so it works on every size cover I've used it on, from micro size reels up to Zebco 808s.

I bought this Hyper Tough 4" Adjustable Strap Filter Wrench to remove the oil filter on my zero turn lawn mower. It was the first time in my life that I tried to do an oil change by myself so I didn't know that I needed an oil filter removal tool to do the job. I had to run back to the store to buy one. I chose this oil filter removal tool because it looked more flexible than the other removal tools that were made of metal. The oil filter on my lawn mower is really close to some metal housing. I tried using locking pliers to remove the oil filter but the metal housing prevented me from being able to get a good grip on the oil filter. The metal housing also prevented me from being able to turn the pliers. The strap on this tool is flexible so I could fit it underneath the edge of the metal housing so that I was able to get a good grip on the oil filter. It was easy to use this adjustable strap filter wrench. Just wrap the strap snugly around the oil filter and pull it tight through the slot in the tool and then press the handle of the tool in the direction that the oil filter comes off. This Hyper Tough 4" Adjustable Strap Filter Wrench was super easy to use for me the first time I needed to do an oil change. Because of that and because of how easy it is to use I would recommend it to others.

I thought these were just for oil filters. I have arthritis in my hands and find it hard to open jars. This Adjustable Strap Filter Wrench opens my jars effortlessly. I could not be happier with it. It is lightweight and feels good in my hand. Seems very durable also. Good choice for help with opening things when you have limited hand strength.

The Hyper Tough Adjustable Strap Filter Wrench 4uFF0CModel 4208 can open anything under 4 inches in diameter. I really like that it is adjustable and made to fit several sizes. It is lightweight but made well and strong. While this is in the automotive section and targeted for oil filters it can also be used in the house for other functions. I selected this to help me open jars which is always a struggle for me. With this adjustable rubber strap I can fit it tightly around the lid and twist the handle to pop the lid open. The handle is very comfortable to hold and the rubber did not slip out of place. The whole thing is durable but small enough to store without taking up a lot of room. I would recommend getting two of these so one can be stored in the kitchen for food uses and other household items that won't get it dirty, and the second one can be stored in the garage for oil changes and anything else it is needed for outside with no worries about it getting dirty. It would be easy to clean but i wouldn't want to use the same one on an oil change and a food jar.

I have weak finger strength because of arthritis. So, I use this adjustable unit as a tool to open and close things around the kitchen or wherever necessary.

This Hyper Tough Adjustable Strap Filter Wrench is very easy to use. The Adjustable Strap Filter Wrench worked like a charm to open a hard to open jar. Great for tightening knobs, etc. on office chairs, etc. Great to enhance grip strength for old hands!

it would have worked great had the handle been adjustable . it wouldnt dit in betwee the motor and the filter . overall it woulda been great !

Cumbersome to put the strap around a jar top.
