Hyper Tough Adjustable Tripod Stand for Work Lights and Cameras

I love the 2 light stands. I do not love the missing red knob that tightens the height extension lever. Good thing Amazon sells off brand knob hardware to replace missing red knob.

Exactly what I needed for my project

This lightweight, easy to position work light tripod is designed for Hyper Tough compartable lights. It can handle a 22 pound light and stands from 25 inches to 46 1/2 inches. Directions are included and easy to read. Enclosed are three pieces of hardware for light fixture mounting: a mounting bolt, a washer, and a nut. The base spread is approximately 27 inches diametrically. I received this product for review. I have since ordered a compatable light for it. The combo will be very serviceable. This is a Spark review product,it arrived quickly and was in perfect condition,the package was very well packed.This is the Hyper Tough model Seven Zero Five Nine folding tripod,when folded up for storage it is Two point Two feet long and can go from Twenty five inches to Fifty inches high,it weighs in at Sixty Ounces and the load capacity is Twenty Two pounds at the highest setting.It is constructed from steel and very sturdy and strong.The hardware is included,One mounting bolt,One washer,and One nut.It has a quick release button for the light.The height extension lever lets you adjust to the height you need.It has a lock knob to lock the legs in place.Our work light got broke but we still use this we just use a trouble light instead until we replace the work light,using the trouble light has worked out very well for what we needed it for so no great rush to replace it.This has a Two year limited warranty to the original purchaser that covers against defects in the material and workmanship under normal use.We used this the other night for just a few minutes when the power went out it did not last but a few minutes but we used the trouble light on it and worked great for that.

This tripod has a surprisingly stable base that does not wobble, making it a solid budget choice if you only need it for a standard camera. However, it fails to live up to its marketing claims regarding lighting setup. Faulty adjustment mechanisms and a static top mount required me to use zip ties just to get a light attached. It works as a temporary fix, but I cannot recommend it as a dedicated lighting stand. The overall construction feels sturdy. Once set up, the main pole stays upright and does not suffer from the annoying wobble common in cheap tripods. The Top Extension: There are two points of height adjustment on this unit. The topmost section works perfectly. It locks securely into place and holds its height without any issues. The leg adjustment mechanism is fundamentally flawed. No matter how tightly I torqued down the adjustment knob, the legs constantly sagged back down to their default, lowest position under weight. The very top section, where you affix your gear, is largely static. It lacks the necessary articulation or positioning options to properly facilitate a light. I specifically ordered this stand because the listing claimed it supported lighting equipment. Because of the rigid top mount and the leg sagging, it completely failed to meet my height and positioning requirements out of the box. I managed to buy myself some time by zip-tying my light directly to the frame, but the setup never felt secure or confident. If you need a budget-friendly, stationary stand exclusively for a lightweight camera at standard height, this will do the job. If you are buying this for lighting, look elsewhere for a stand with better articulation and functioning locking knobs.

Returned the item. The advertised mounting screw size did not fit the hyper tough laser I bought with it. Despite stating that they were the same size
