Hyper Tough Black Plastic 4-Tier Storage Shelving, 240 lb Capacity, 47.6" H x 21.7" W x 13.8" D

This review is for the “Hyper Tough 4-Shelf Plastic Shelving Unit”. From the moment this arrived, I built it and started using it. The main use I have for it is for my baby supplies for infant and toddler, such as diapers, wipes, wash clothes, soaps, etc. I was able to fit two collapsible bins on each shelf, which was very useful. So far, I can't seem to have any issues with the shelving unit. Below are only 'Pros' for this unit as I have yet to notice any 'cons'. Firstly, this shelving unit was really easy to build. There was no need for directions and I was able to build it myself within 5 minutes. Secondly, it is pretty sturdy. It's build of hard plastic, which seems to withstand quite a bit of weight. I have not tested it on super heavy items so far, but it's already pretty filled up with no concern of it bending, sinking in or breaking. Lastly, as mentioned prior, I was able to fit two collapsible bins on each shelf. This has made it so easy to put quite a bit of stuff in the shelving unit without worrying about lack of space. The shelving unit is also easily accessible to my older children (10 and 7 years old) as well. After everything, this is probably one of the best items I've used in a while. It's a great way to become organized, especially with having 4 children, 2 of which are little and own a bunch of odds and ends of things. With all the pros mentioned above, I highly recommend this shelving unit to anyone looking for convenience.

This storage shelf was very easy to put together. It took me no longer then a minute and was pretty fun. I am using it for my storage closet and it fit in perfectly. It held up pretty well and can hold pretty heavy objects. It looks very organized and I give it a ten out of ten. I prefer white but black is ok. This would work great with toy storage, shoe storage, garage storage, good storage, you name it. Very sturdy.

This plastic shelving isn’t anything fancy nor is it the most attractive. It is just a basic organization shelf. I gave the plastic shelving unit to my husband to help with organizing miscellaneous items in our small, outdoor shed. Set up looked to be relatively easy and quick to set up. He was able to put it together without any guidance from an instruction manual. Another plus is that if the shelf gets something undesirable spilled on it, not only will the black color help hide stains, but he can just hose it off without any worry about warping or rusting since it is entirely made out of plastic. It is also really lightweight, so it shouldn’t be too hard to move without much effort if he needs to. We own a few Hyper Tough brand items and like the others, this shelving seems to be made of good quality materials and has lasted much longer than more expensive brands. We’d happily purchase another one of these types of plastic shelving if the need should arise, and it most likely will! I definitely recommend it for use inside and outside the garage for any variety of basic organization. It can be used for so many jobs! It has lasted us many months and is still going strong.

Hey this is a nice shelf for a quick and easy setup. I like having it in the Rv for extra storage space. It’s so lightweight and can be put together in minutes. So once your done it can be disassembled just as fast. Great for rvs to add extra shelves. It’s pretty sturdy if your not leaning or hanging from it. It will hold up pretty good.

This Hyper Tough shelving unit is super light weight and easy to move after construction. It was easy to put together. I used a wrench handle to help pound in the poles. A rubber mallet would also be helpful. All the shelves are the same so it didn’t matter in what order you assemble. I’m using the unit to hold my seed trays in front of a sunny window. It looks way better than piled on my kitchen table. The best thing about the unit is that it is surprisingly made in the USA!

The Hyper Tough 4-Shelf Plastic Shelving Unit 21.75” W x 14” D x 47.6” H in black has come in handy for me and my family. It’s great in helping with organizing. I’m using mine to store some extra paper/plastic wear and some other home products. The shelving unit is very sturdy. I have put a 24-pack of water on the bottom shelf, cleaning supplies on another and some overflow of paper and plastic on the top. The shelving unit was very easy to put together. My 3 year helped me put it together. I like that it’s lightweight and can easily be moved or torn apart. I am very happy with the Hyper Tough 4- shelf plastic shelving unit.

Arrived quickly. Was somewhat made cheaper than I expected but is a very useful product. Will be able to in the future make it shorter if need be. Has four shelves which are pretty sturdy! Large shed capacity helps greatly when placing objects on-top!! So overall a pretty good purchase but kinda high priced. Would recommend.

Owning several Hyper Tough shelving units, this item looks not one bit like the others in this series! This 14D x 21.75W x 47.6H comes in a flimsy, shiny black plastic and does not represent this series of shelving AT ALL! Even the stock photos show how it does not match the others. Even the advertising switches from one look to another! I'm not sure where these bubbled corners, or this bar-graph-looking front and sides came from, but this DOES NOT fit in with the rest of the shelving in this series! The other shelves in this series come in a hard plastic with a nicely textured top on each shelf. This unit does not! The tops on this unit's shelves are so bad and flimsy, you can see the markings from the plastic leg holders (for storage) below. As well, the other shelves in this series come in matte black; this shelving unit is glossy black. Others in this series come with pre-drilled holes in the event the User wants to attach it to the wall; this unit has no pre-drilled holes. Others in this series have some sort of tongue/groove on one side to attach additional shelving; this one does not! This shelving: Hyper Tough 4 Shelf Plastic Garage Shelving Unit 14D x 21.75W x 47.6H, Black, DOES NOT represent my other GREAT reviews on the other sizes in this series. Go back to the drawing board on this one! Why on earth is this item even part of the Hyper Tough series of garage shelving is beyond me! Thumbs Down, all the way! Terribly P[OOR QUALITY when compared to my other shelving units!

Do yourself a favor and get something better. This thing is a return waiting to happen. I threw it into my pickup order bc it's on rollback and I could always use more utility shelves. It is so flimsy and wobbly, I wouldn't trust it to hold more than a kleenex box. It's not even worth half the price even on rollback. My 19 year old son put it together for me while I was working and he said, Mom you can't use this for anything it's like a toy. I thought maybe he just hadn't pushed everything together thoroughly but there really is no helping it get any sturdier, I tried. It's worth noting that most if not all of the 5 star reviews are "Incentivized Reviews".

Poorly made and not sturdy. I wouldn’t put anything of value on it. Poorly packaged, just a plastic wrap to hold the shelves together, with no protection from damage due to shipping and handling. When I received my unit, the ends of the shelves had cracks as though they had be dropped or banged against something during shipping.
