I have an older home and most of the outlets are not ground faulted. This works great for me to use especially when it comes to using the Christmas tree. I also use it for my plant lights.

Small in size which is a plus. Only blocks the one outlet it is plugged into. That leaves the other one available for use by something else that needs to be plugged into. Easy setup. Working great!

it works great, takes a couple tries to figure out their day/night concept...love having the Christmas tree turn itself on and off, but it totally freaks out the dogs and cat!

I'm loving this thing! I "upgraded" to digital timers a few years ago after my analog ones wore out. I do like the digital ones, but at least on mine, it's impossible to just turn the lamp on or off at a non scheduled time. This analog one makes that so much easier because you just move the switch to outlet. It's also much easier to adjust the times on this one, which is especially useful with the nights getting earlier right now - I need to change the timer every week or 2. The only downside is the clicking motor noise of all analog timers, but this one is much quieter than the ones my parents have. It's quieter than my wall clock's ticking. I really love the size too. This one is in my kitchen in an outlet above the counter by a tea kettle and decor, so I like that it doesn't take up as much room, and is much easier to unplug if I need to set it. I've been really happy with this one, and am thinking of buying more for the other rooms to make adjustments way easier.

The Hyper Tough Analog Mini Timer has been working out great. It's sturdy and well built and should last a long time and is able to turn a light on for a set amount of time and then off for a set amount of time. The on and off cycles can be set for more than ten times per day on any schedule that you want to set it for. It's small enough that you can plug it into the top of an electrical receptacle and still be able to use the lower plug at the same time. No batteries are required, and it's so simple to use that even my grand kids could easily program and use it. It has an on and off switch on the top to allow you to either have it on so that it will turn on during your schedules or totally off if you don't want the light turning on at all. The main thing that I like about it is the fact that it's so simple to use and program. I didn't want to have to pair it with anything or have to use an app on my phone and this timer does the trick because it doesn't use Blu Tooth, WiFi, or anything like that, but is just a simple product that works for it's intended purpose. I can easily give this a five star rating.

I always use timers in my house and this Hyper Tough indoor mini timer is a great addition. Instead of going around turning lights on and off at different times by using a timer it saves time and money. The timer is programmable with 30-minute intervals so all I have to do is push the pins down to set desired time on and pull pins up to set the time to turn off. These pins are built in and easy to use by pulling up and pushing down. To set it I first pull all the pins up with my finger. I decided to set it to go on at 5:00 pm and turn off at 10:00 pm. Now I push all the tabs down in the black section on the dial for my time frame. I plug the timer into the outlet plug in my lamp. There is a switch on the top of the timer for "outlet on" or "timer on". I want the timer on so my lamp will turn on at 5 pm and off at 10pm. If I decide not to use the timer then I just switch to outlet on. The instructions are easy to understand. This is a wonderful way to have lights on when coming come and helps deter intruders. It can be used to program other electrical appliances like a fan or radio too. This is a must have for all homes.

I have a few timers I use at xmas time. This is by far the most difficult ti set up. I 3ven had my husband look at it and he gave up. ▪️The problem is the way time of day shows . Other timers the black numbers are NIGHT and the white numbers are day. This isnt that way so i couldn't set it. i was on my way to return it and said, "Let me try and flip the pins the opposite of what I think they should be, and that worked.
