Hyper Tough, Indoor Analog Timer, Double Grounded Outlet

I have 6 of these and will probably buy 2 more. I use them for my indoor Halloween and Xmas lights. They are silent! I have had several other ones but you can hear them. Easy to use you have to pull all the pins up first then push down the ones to set the time. Highly recommend!

Quality timer that is easy to set up and use. I tried a smaller timer and it never worked. This timer is well made and should last a while. I'm very pleased with it. Highly recommend.

This Hyper Tough Heavy Duty Grounded Timer, Two Outlet was very easy to set up and use right away. No need to even read instructions. It felt very intuitive and was not complicated at all to figure out. You can choose many options for turning on and off, including having something on just during one set time block or having something turn on and off multiple times during the day. The appearance is somewhat nondescript and simple which is nice so it does not draw attention. I like that it has neutral colors and kind of blends into the wall. The circle in the middle is adjustable and basically allows you to select which times you want to have on/off. The timer itself appears pretty durable and solid. The main feature is just the ability to turn the circle, which is essentially a clock, and push up or down the times you want whatever you have plugged into it to be on or off. This is perfect for holiday lights or even outdoor security lights that you only want on at certain times. Or if you're out of town, I think it's nice to use for some indoor lighting as well to give the appearance like you are home without having to leave something on the entire time you're out. Definitely would recommend this timer to anyone who needs to have something turned on and off on a regular basis and would like the peace of mind not to have to do it manually everyday.

i used it to turn on lamp before sunset. So when I come home from work a light is on. its nice to have light on at that time.

Working great. Bought it about a month ago and turns off/on heat lamps for reptile as needed.

It was what I wanted to purchase for the lamp I needed only to have on at certain times. The on/auto switch is on the side when I plugged it in to the outlet

Well, it is not that difficult to use but it is a bit off from the time that I set it to, we have had a couple of theses because they are inexpensive but after a year the last one broke and would not keep time.

I did get this to work, but only by handing it to my mechanically-inclined son. It is not for anyone with vision problems or limited dexterity, and the instructions weren't very clear. Setting the timer involves a simple turn of the dial, which is set in half-hour increments. You pull up all of the pins and then push down the ones for the 30-minute periods that you want it turning on. However, we then needed to fiddle with it after it was plugged in, because setting it while it's unplugged doesn't work. If you really need something like this for your house and are willing to play around with it for a few hours, then by all means give it a try. For myself, it's not worth the hassle.
