Hyper Tough Magnetic Telescoping Pickup Tool with LED Light

This a handy device for your tool box or your kitchen drawer of utilities. I bought 6 of these for gifts including one for myself. Only complaint from one gift recipient- it is not rechargeable (wah, wah), but for the price you can't beat it. You shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth. It's led-lighted magnet picks up loose screws, nuts, needles, pins, and other metal objects; it also has a magnet on its unlighted end. It extends from about 7 inches to about 24 inches so it can be used in hard to reach places; the last few inches of the extension are flexible. It has a pocket clip on the handle, but it is a little long and heavy to clip in a shirt pocket; maybe, in one of those side pockets in a canvas tool bag. Tried to upload 5 photos, but the process ended with an error.

this is great for my 6 foot plus husband to pick small stuff up in his garage. before this, my husband thought that what landed on the floor had to stay there no matter how many sharp items i stepped on.

Really good. The flexibility. Magnet okay. Wish it was stronger. LED lights are good.

These little doo-dads are a lifesaver when one needs to search in a dark corner. My only concern is I think the light could be a teensy bit brighter, otherwise it's great.

the magnet is weak, the batteries are small (LR44), doesn't extend very far. if you want a magnetic pick up tool, go to harbor freight and tape a flashlight to the handle.

The item itself is well built and feels sturdy in the hand. Its draw backs are the magnetic hold is extremely weak and it doesn't extend long enough. This will pick up small screws, but if you work in a machine shop my opinion is to look for something that will fit your needs.

Battery performance poor. Should have paid closer attention to fine print in description.... Small disc batteries aren't available just anywhere ....

battery pretty muched died the first day I had it. not sure how to replace the battery as it has a second cover that seems plastic that I have not figured out how to remove. the original battery still works but light is very very dim. the second magnet in the bottom of the flash handle came out very easy and now really only functions as a telescopic magnet tool. just buy a cheap telescopic magnet and you save money and be able to reach places easier
