Worked straight out of the box and was easy to set up. The cord is long enough to sit panel comfortably outside and then mount light inside above door. A fast and affordable solution and no electricity needed. Has multiple settings so only comes on when detects motion, then turns off, saving battery. Nice brightness for the shed, Winner!

This light was easy to install above my garage door. It took about 10 minutes to screw it down. I charged it up all day and when I turned it on when it got dark---WOW BRIGHT LIGHTS. The motion sensor is a little sensitive. My garage is about 7 car lengths from the road and when large trucks and semis goes by---the light comes on. It does go off in 30 seconds or less if no further movement is detected.

My daughter built a food pantry for her Girl Scout project. We used this for above the door. There are three modes for the light. Two seem to just blink. The third which is awesome. Is a motion sensing light. When you walk up to the pantry. The light comes on about six feet from walking up to it. After you leave. It stays on for a good thirty seconds. Maybe even 45. Brightness is awesome.

My back yard is pretty large so at night I can't see the other side of it. I think one on each end would be best I kind of have it closer to the middle since I only got one. For reference my yard is 108 feet long and about 35 wide. The light is VERY bright, and the motion sensor works great sometimes my dog gets let out at night and he triggers it which I like so I can keep an eye on him.

works realy great!! i even cut the wires and spliced them back together. two years later, still going strong.. if you buy one, the key to keeping it functional is always make sure the solar panel gets plenty of sun during the day.. mine has lasted two years.

These are excellent outdoor security lights for the price! I have some from an older generation that have lasted for years through the rain, snow, heat, cold, etc. This new generation puts off even more light and they are very sensitive to movement.

I didn't really think that this thing was gonna work and it was gonna light up the backyard but once I set it up and got it going it works perfectly it. I have a 10,000 square-foot backyard and it lights up almost half of that.

These are plenty bright imo. I got a few for a small shop, love that the solar panel is on a long cord so I can mount them outside and the lights inside. Perfect for what I needed.

Honestly, I had zero hopes this would be bright enough or whatever because it's like 14 dollars and some change after taxes but once it charged up a bit and my grandpa installed it above the patio I was so happy with the purchase. It's actually one of the brightest solar lights I have found yet and it's been almost 5 or 6 months since I purchased it and it's still going strong. only issue I have with it is I didn't want motion sensor and this said it was "from dusk till dawn" and packaging made it seem like after you pressed the button a certain amount of times the settings would change into a constant light but it is motion activated and stays bright for a good two minutes then dims for one min then shuts off. That part sucks and it's why I gave a four star review instead of five. If it did stay on all night then I would give ten stars if I could but all in all I would recommend this light as a good bright emergency resource for sure !

Overall, a good purchase. I've bought Hyper Tough's before; they're going on 5 years of use now. I dinged off a star for 2 reasons with this model. a) The cord is not very long. b) The mounting base for both the light and the small solar panel is pretty tiny, and only has two holes for the mounting screws. It's a little flimsier than I'd prefer, tbh. Aside from that, when it goes off, you'll know. It shoots a strong beam of white light in the direction its pointed. Overall, I'm very pleased with this purchase. Cheers.
