It actually works!!
It actually works!! I was able to fix my old tractor with it without any previous welding experience. It takes some practice to not get the stick stuck while welding, but once you get the hang of it it will do the job for simple welding projects. Worked fine with my inverter generator while plugged into the 20 amp socket with the following specs: 4125 starting watts and 3300 running watts. Did not work while plugged into the the 30 amp socket on the generator though.

The little welder that could
When I first looked at the welder I thought just another junk welder on the market but this thing burns through some rods all with good penetration!! Highly recommend!

Works like it should. What I don't like is that you have to wait a little for it to cool down before you weld again.

It welds.
It actually welds. I was not expecting much from this welder, but paired with the Vulcan 3/16 electrodes from HF it does a good job on exhaust pipes. If you're just starting out and don't have much to spend, this is a passable option until you can afford higher quality. Was very difficult with the hyper tough electrodes though. Very unwieldy.

Not Hobart but it gets the job done !
Shockingly, it welds pretty good. I finished half of a trailer that someone didn't finish and I even welded the hitch. To this day, it's still in use.
