I'm a handicap senior and I couldn't walk to my air conditioner so I got this plugged in my air conditioner to it and now I have a remote that I can use by my bed instead of getting up. I'm going to get more for other stuff but at the moment this is perfect for me not to have to get up and walk all the way over to the air conditioner to turn it on.

Was wanting to be able to turn off some of my Christmas lights and the plug was directly behind the tree and in a corner which made it inconvenient. I didn't even know they made these, so I was happy to try it to keep from having to climb back there everyday. Wow!!! Very durable and I think it will last for years. The remote was so easy to use. Just one tap to turn them off and one tap to turn them back on. Very pleased. My only negative is that is was a little expensive but if it lasts for several years, it will be well worth it.

This product works perfectly for our outdoor decorations. I am not a fan of the dusk to dawn lights, or other timers that start at a certain time and end at a certain , but this product, with the remote switch, works perfectly. Now , I can have the lights on whenever I want them on.👍

I would definitely recommend this plug I have my baby chicks heat light hooked up to this plug and I can turn it on and off from inside my house while the plug is inside their little house. super happy with this choice.

Purchased for an outdoor fountain. With the remote control, I can turn this on and off from inside my kitchen. It is perfect for what I needed it for.

My electric costs were out of sight because of a needed entrance snow melting mat. Plugging and unplugging the mat was difficult. The remote control plug unit has made all the difference because I can use the mat easily from inside when snow is forecast.

I now have three of these -- for inside lights, outside lights and holiday lights. They are very handy and work great.

We wanted an outlet that worked with our other cords and that would allow our lights to come on with dark. But this did not work this way. We had to be very close to the light display to use the remote, which defeated the convenience of dark to light automatic feature. And turning it on my hand was a risk hazard as we had to get on our knees to find the button to turn it on.

They made this bottom plastic part stick out so you literally can't plug things into it??!! Such a terrible design. Only purchase this if your prong is a standard size. Any sort boxed prong/anything high voltage won't fit. I bought this for my two pool pump filters and this definitely won't work.
