I am so tired of everything being made of plastic. This single bulb light socket for my storage building was perfect and actually made of porcelain. This was exactly what I wanted.

These porcelain sockets are cute these are little and easy too I stalll..the price is great.. 4,88 easy can't beat that price…they only come in white no other colors.. there is no chain on these .. they are great for the socket fan they hold up great…

these are nice light sockets they work exactly like you're supposed to and I got two of them not just one and now there is light

I've become quite familiar with Hyper Tough products recently. As a bit of a beginners handle man I like how they focus on economic products with function over form. They're not trying to reinvent you the wheel. They're making proven things that work and making them tough with a reasonable price tag. Just like this light socket. Its a simple design you see often. Nothing fancy or extra special. It just works and it has none of those extra bells or whistles you don't need so the price is reasonable for the local handyman or the husband trying to keep his wife happy. With simple instructions so that even a first timer can get the job done its a good brand that trust its customer to pick simple and reliable over fancy and costly. Aside from outside problems, like your junction box screw hole being stripped forcing you to find a work around or replace the whole box, this is a simple and fast install even for a first timer. Though having a lamp to be able to see and maybe a second person to make sure you don't fall doesn't hurt either.

Tried to knock out smaller holes as directed, and entire base cracked making it unusable because could not secure it
