Hyper Tough Safety Cutter

I'm actually really impressed with the hyper tough safety cutter! It's lightweight easy to hold And I feel safer using this than your normal box cutter! The hyper tough safety cutter can cut through boxes, plastic and even paper without damaging the product inside. I also love the compact design. You can easily fit it in a drawer or your car or in a toolbox without worrying about the blades being exposed. for such an in expensive tool it works extremely well with the sharp blade. Maintenance is easy! It makes it easy to open packages so much quicker and safer! Definitely a handy tool to keep around the house!

Love this tool! It's safe and easy to use while at the same time performing just as well as a pocket knife. Will break down boxes and cut through cardboard, but just tape. Compact enough to keep in my drawer, lightweight and material thats heavy duty

This Hyper Tough safety cutter is the perfect helper to open packages safely. It is very lightweight and fits well into an adult size hand. It doesn't feel flimsy at all even though it it's so lightweight, it still feels sturdy. The design is quite clever - the blade is covered on the top so you can't really hurt yourself with it or just poke into a package with it. The two exposed blades on either side are razor sharp and cut through the packaging tape of my packages without any issues. I have two toddlers and a baby at home that constantly want to help me open packages, cutting things etc and often steal my scissors to do so, which freaks me out because I am always worried they will hurt themselves. With this tool, I feel way more at ease using it around them because it seems quite safe to use and doesn't really have an exposed blade to hurt yourself with. With this tool I can even let my 4 year old open all the packages herself (with my supervision of course). Overall I am quite happy with this safety cutter as it makes opening and cutting way safer, and less hazardous as regular cutters, and is even safe enough for me to use while my kids are running around.

I received this product in exchange for my honest review. I did find this product very useful - I like how it comes with the safety barrier on top to avoid cutting yourself. The blade is shape and effective and seems pretty durable. Very small and easy to transport.

This is a useful tool to keep around for things like opening mail, packages, plastic containers and bulkier mail bags on the daily. It's sharp, comes assembled, and when you do need a cutter for thicker plastic ties or other thicker things it definitely comes in handy! I've been using it around the house to cut open fruit bags, zip ties, help break down cardboard, and open mail/packages. It's handy and makes me feel safer than a box cutter since the blade is turned around and slightly concealed.

This blade is extremely sharp, and it would make it hard to cut yourself. A store is easily to where you don't have to worry about accidentally cutting yourself, grabbing it out of a drawer. But I don't know when I would grab it over a traditional box cutter for myself. For my children yes I would allow them to use this since it would be difficult to cut yourself with it.

The Hyper Tough Safety Cutter is safe and lightweight. It works well for envelopes and some lighter boxes, but it struggles with anything tightly sealed with layers of tape or heavy adhesive. It's a safe tool, just not something I would personally use because it doesn't handle tougher packaging.

this item barely cuts unless it's very thin, I wanted to use it to cut clamshell type packaging but it doesn't cut through the cardboard the blades not sharp enough. looks great in the picture like it would work but the blades are terrible
