there made of heavy steal the end come to gather in a v shape and to hold them in place. I put 3 difference shovel and worked great I place it in by horse barn you have to push it through the v on the end, but it won't fall on you head I would not put them in dry wall if you going to put weight on them try to find a stud
What can I say. I finally got tired of having my shovels leaning against the garage wall. Push my motorcycle into the garage, bump a shovel and they all fall like dominos. Grab my rake and bump a shovel and they all fall like dominos. You get the picture. With this 3-Tool Holder problem solved. Finally!
When i picked this up i wasn't very hopeful, I've ordered the same and gotten plastic that's lasted a short time and eventually broken. When this arrived INSTANTLY i realized this would outlast the tools me possibly my tool room. HEAVY gauge steel welded with good weld beads so the standard in manufacturing is obvious. With plastic covers to prevent marring the tools hung on it . Well thought out and VERY strong. I can easily hang three sledged hammers on it safely. I will be ordering several more.
This little tool holder is “Hyper Tough”! It can hold up to 65 lbs. I mounted it in one of our barn stalls where it is easily accessible for the 3 tools I use the most often. I like it since it is compact and you can easily add or remove the tools. The tools slide in between the side rails and fit well within its grip. See photos. I’m going to get a couple more and use them elsewhere for quick access to other tools I use regularly. The holder comes with 2 screws and wall anchors. Install was about ten minutes. I I have a 48” tool hanger rail which is ok, but this 3 tool hanger would be better for compact or smaller spaces.
This is a nice bracket that can hold all sorts of tools. It is pretty strong and has tool protectors built in so you wont scratch your tools. According to the sticker this holder can support 65 pounds. The one flaw in the design is the mounting hard ware. They give you these light weight screws that are designed to go in to sheet rock. You can not really mount any thing like this to sheet rock unless you hit the stud. What I did was to drill the mounting holes in the bracket slightly larger and used better screws and that works perfectly and was very easy to do and only took about three minutes of my time.
The Three Tool Holder is well made and comes with mounting hardware. I mounted mine on a wooden stud in the garage. I see this holder lasting as long as the garage. It's very sturdy and holds lawn and garden tools easily. I've hung a shovel, rake and hoe with ease. I'll have to get another to hold the rest of my yard tools. A spare one can even hold the average garden hose, up and out of the way. I appreciate that it's a rather inexpensive way of storing things.
I got this to hang tools on, but found that it's not really convenient for that. To get to the tool in the back, you have to take off the ones in front. Also, things like hoes won't work, as there's nothing to grab on the edges. But it does work well for my lawn chairs (see the picture). And I found it very solid, especially since I have it mounted into a stud.
The Hyper Tough Screw Mounted Steel 3-Tool Holder works fairly well. Claims to support 65 pounds. Seems very strong with heavy gauge steel. Comes with two screws and two drywall anchors. I mounted mine on a two-by-four that I already had on the wall so I didn't need the drywall anchors. The screw holes were wider apart than the two-by-four so I had to put a small block above to hold one screw. This definitely saved space on my wall by hanging three tools in the space of one. The hanger is designed to hold three tools. The three tools need to be fairly flat to fit. I hung three shovels that were two flat square nose shovels and a round point shovel. The round point shovel had to be on the front to fit. Since there isn't much space on the bracket, tools like a rake or push broom won't fit well and you would only be able to hang two tools to make them fit. The only other problems I see are that if you want to use the tool in the back you have to remove the two front tools first to access the back tool, and it is best to use tools with thinner handles or they might not fit between the sides of the bracket very well.
Nice little organizer. There are plastic covers on the top to prevent scratching the tools hanging. The power coat finish is scratch resistant itself. I dropped it a star because of the included hardware. The label says this tool holder can be mounted on wood and not just drywall, but the included screws are so soft, I stripped the Philips head entirely trying to put it into a 2x4 in the garage. Because it partially went in I could back it out and put in the other. But for the other mounting hole I grabbed a drywall screw that worked great. It is sturdy and can hold multiple tools, adding to organization. (Just use better screws if you plan on mounting it to wood, or drill big pilot holes.)
I really liked the concept of this tool hanger, however after installing a couple items with larger ends, such as brooms, rakes, brushes, I found it was a little too compact to allow holding 3 items. The included mounting hardware allows quick and easy installation in different construction ( drywall, wood studs). The hanger itself is heavy duty metal to safely allow hanging heavier objects like shovels and racks, without risk of it breaking or cracking. Great concept, just a little too small to hold the advertised 3 objects, especially if they are larger items
