Hyper Tough Sisal Twisted Rope, Natural, 1/4 in x 100 ft, 1 Each

This rope has the look of 'jute,' but it spares you the rough, course, hairy texture of jute rope. This rope is much softer and compliant for crafts. If it were actual 'jute,' it would be considered on the 'thicker side,' so be careful if your intended craft calls for standard or thin jute (but if you're REALLY clever and crafty, it is possible to pull this rope apart and end up with a thinner rope.

Sisal rope is my favorite for small projects around the house and garden. I prefer it to synthetic. I think plants can grab onto it better, and when I'm done with it, the used parts can decay and turn into soil.

Good product. It is light weight, manipulates well. I used it to weave a pattern in my gate to make it stronger. It worked beautifully. I think I will try using it for the bottom of crocheted slippers , gluing the strands together.

The twine/rope was exactly what I needed for a price I could afford for my crafting project. The twine did not have the offensive smell some do It was perfect! Wish I could show you a pict!

I would give it a 5 stars but since I order 2 rolls and when it arrived they are not the same size. One roll is bigger than the other. It is best to go to the store and pick them yourself. I use these for fixing the cat's scratcher so it make a big different the bigger the roll the longer the rope. The rope do not has any smell . You can use these for crafting but I use them for cat's scratchers. I tie them around the paper carton like pipes and use the hot glue over the rope end to glue to the paper.

Can't really review this product as I have yet to use it. I purchased it to redo my cat pole for scratching just haven't gotten around to it yet, but. That I was getting more rope than what I originally got. Yes it gave me the measurement, but figured it would go a lot further for the cost. It is very expensive doing it this way might be worth going to hardware stores to check out prices there Them from Walmart or this manufacturer

I got this to fix up the cats' scratching posts after she destroyed the old cording that they came with. A bit of glue and a little patience are all that's required. Now, kitty is happy again and leaves the furniture alone.

It's really spikey and smells like chemicals. It has been outdoors for a month, I constantly run water over it and the smell is so strong and chemically. Too pokey for my cats

This is the worst sisal I've ever used. I purchased it to replace the sisal on my cat's tree and I am still not finished. If you're familiar working with insulation without any protection, it feels just like it. I had to stop 10 minutes in because it felt like I had a wood sliver in my finger. Turns out it's so sharp, it cut my finger open. I had to wear gloves, but my hands are still burning like there's some kind of chemical on it. While I was wrapping the tree, the sisal on the floor was twisting up. It's not wrapped like most. So you can actually replace the sisal on a cat tree alone. You need two people. One to untangle while the other wraps. I had to keep hot gluing while I tried to unravel the whole 100 feet of mess. I wouldn't use this again if they sent me a free case of it. I only hope my cat won't have the same reaction I'm having.

Bought this to redo my cat's climbing/sitting tower. Secured it with hot glue every now %26 again. She shredded it within 3 days after I finished. Not quality sisal.
