Although this wrench is meant for oil filters, I used it to tighten a large plastic nut on my pool's filtering system. Nothing I had fit that nut, so when i saw these pliers I took a chance. We had a couple of pool pros work on it and they were struggling with channel locks. I told them to try the filter wrench and they were impressed. I told them where I got them and they said they would be purchasing the filter pliers for every one of their crews. Can't beat that for an endorsement.

great tool to have i used it for plumbing project but it can be used for other projects good tool to have made very well
