Hyper Tough Solar LED Solar Motion Sensing Security Street and Area Flood Light, 500 Lumens

This light is awesome! Its incredibly bright for such a small light. It will light up an entire room or outdoors area if you need it to. It charges quickly and holds the charge for a good while. I really like the motion sensor on it too. I will be getting another one, so I can have two great light.

Leave led light on “off” & let it charge sun 3 days to fully Charge then switch to “ on/auto”. Took less than 5 minutes to install light. Light comes on at dark automatically & ion battery was included as well. I like How light stays on dim /power save mode all night & When it senses any Motion it fully comes on & covers 25 feet. I'm so impressed with light I will purchase more of these lights.

It was super easy to install and looks sharp against our brick. We were surprised how bright it was despite being cloudy all day. We placed it over our hose bib which is pitch black at night. This light illuminated it all the time at a bright setting. When motion was sensed, it lit up even brighter. This is a fantastic light and we will be purchasing one for the other side of our house.

We already have several solar lights around the house but we wanted to add one to the side of our garage. This light is a good size for putting off more light when it's the only light. The side of the garage was fairly dark and didn't have any other additional lighting. The best part is that there is no wiring needed and it can just be mounted.

Needed a light for side of my home and I found this at Walmart and like the idea that it did not need any wires or electricity. My husband installed this light on the side of our home in less than 5 minutes. The light is powered using solar energy and there's also a rechargeable backup battery. The installation requires you to screw on a plate to the surface and then the light slides onto that. It was just what I needed for this area of her home and the light is very bright and motion activated. This review was collected as part of a promotion, and the opinions are my own.

This light is amazing. Although it's meant to be wall mounted, I mounted it to a fence post that I put in a big flower pot so I could move it around the yard as needed. It's currently being used to light up the stone walkway to my pool. It's perfect because it has two different light modes. When it senses movement, a dim light comes on and as you get closer within around 5 feet or so, the light gets very bright. We plan to get several more for other places in the yard. It has an on/off switch on the back so you can turn it completely off it you want. I highly recommend this motion sensor solar light.

Some times the light seems like it doesn't want to come on when you walk near it, but in general it still works and the light is not too bright, it's just right, we use it behind our house especially for our dog when he has to use the bathroom at night.

The Hyper Tough 500 Lumen Solar Motion Street LED Solar Security Light is a very bright motion activated light. It works up to 25 feet. The light must be installed in direct sunlight to work. The LED light uses a lithium battery. Indirect light may work but it is better to install it in direct sun. The light should be cleaned regularly with a damp cotton cloth on a regular basis to ensure coming on when motion is detected and to charge the battery. On approaching the light after it was installed at night it did come on very quickly when I was within range. If someone was sneaking up to your home I believe they would be quite shocked when this light comes on, as it is so bright. This light has two levels of brightness. 20 lumens when it automatically turns on at dusk, and brightens to 500 lumens when motion is detected. If the battery is not charged enough it displays a rapidly flashing light . Then one must turn the switch to the OFF position and charge the battery for three full sunny days to bring the battery to full charge. After three days turn the switch to the AUTO position. The light is solar powered and turns on at dusk for motion detection. My solar LED security light came with 1 rechargeable battery, 2 mounting screws and 2 wall plugs. For the low price, it's worth trying out. For a newbie, it's a good cheap intro to solar battery charged lighting. Before I installed it, I charged the solar panel for 3 days as instructed in direct sunlight on the off position. Before doing this, I had turned it on and was surprised that it was as bright as blazes, so I don't understand why it needed 3 days of charging. I'll probably look for another solar light that is portable (has a mount?) for temporary charging locations, since where I want it which is over my landing staircase, where more security lighting is needed, doesn't seem to get as much light as required for a long enough charge. I do wish the instructions weren't in such fine print and were more simply explained especially regarding a template. >

The lights are extremely bright. It's also bigger than most lights that offer the same benefits. We had a hard time trying to decide where to put it; due to the size, but we like it. We have only had it for a few weeks, so I can not comment on how long it will last in the elements.
