Great little electric dirt bike for my 6 year old. He just got it for Christmas but so far the battery has been working great. It’s a durable bike with heavy metal frame. He rides it up and down the hills in our yard with ease. I don’t think it would be appropriate for a 13 year old as advertised. But it’s great for a 6 year old!
Great bike for the price! It’s way undersized for the age recommendation, but works and fits my 6yo well. The age restrictions may be for speed? But it’s not crazy fast if your child is familiar. It’s not a bike you can ‘govern’ the speed. But your child can control speed with the throttle. Good for young learning, but they will outgrow in 2-3 years, but what don’t they outgrow in that range!
This bike is a must have! I know it's a splurge, but this is the toy that my son wakes up everyday for! We always make sure it's charged and he is ready to go! Occupies him for hours. We've had it for quite awhile and it runs well. One time it was malfunctioning and the manufacturer sent us all the parts necessary to fix. It ended up acting right before we needed to fix it. it may have gotten damp one night we forgot to bring it in, but it holds a decent charge. takes awhile to charge but we just plug it in each night. not too heavy, easy to transport. just grab it for your little guy or girl. my daughter even rides it! this is one of those toys they will remember forever.
The bike itself works great. The only downfall is that the run time is only about 45 minutes to an hr, then needs to charge up again for 4 hours. Otherwise, it's great quality and a decent little first bike for kids 10 and up. My son has NO complaints other than wishing it went faster. Of course, he is a little daredevil. Thank you.
Just got this on Black Friday. Opened it to check it out. Looks loke a nice beginner bike for a kid. says 13 and up but I think more loke 6-10. It would be pretty small for a 13 year old. Only thing I dislike about the design is that the throttle is on the left. On a traditional motorcycle the throttle is on the right.
Only 4 rides in, the throttle quit working. Contacted allstate replacement insurance to be told their warranty does not start until the manufacturers warranty runs out. So contacted Hyperbike for warranty. Hyper bike only sends out parts. So you better be a mechanic if you buy this product. First throttle did not work. Called back, got new throttle and controller box. Put that on. Worked until the batteries went dead. Now will not charge. Asked for replacement, sending more parts that I have to pay someone to put on because they do not have insructions on their product!!!! Told me to watch a Razor video. I should have bought a Razor instead of Hyper.
This was to small for my 8 year old son it said it was 13 and it was not a good fit for my son. This bike would be great for smaller kids but weight does impact how it preforms. There is a rest button that trips every time he would hit a bump and after riding for 5 mins or so. It would stop and not work.
This bike was intended for my 10 yr old daughter, shes only 4’3 and weighs 80lbs. The bike is really slow, we were disappointed in that. Additionally, the bike only rides for short 10 second bursts and then needs to be “rest” with the reset button on the bike. My daughter continuously refers to the bike as “she got scammed” as she saved birthday and Christmas money to buy the bike on her own. Bike was purchased in January of 2026. Review was written March of 2026.
kids rode it 3x total for 10 minutes each time. when they took it out for the forth time (after a full day of charging) it worked for maybe 3 minutes going slower than the kids can walk. hasnt held a charge since. kids are super disappointed. it was a gift from santa...
The thing was a piece of junk my 5 year old could not get 10 hours out of it before stealing broke and battery was toast joke of a bike I would get another brand
