HyperTough 1000 Lumen Led Work Light, Folding Stand, Black, Red and Plastic

Great light. 1000 lumens lights up the entire room. I know it is advertised to be used as an Emergency Car Repairing and Job Site Lighting, but I am going to use it as my hurricane emergency light. In the pictures I tried to show how much space can be lit up. There are 4 different light settings - one light high and low and 2 lights high and low. The battery did not take long to charge and does not drain down when turned off and not in use.

I wasn't expecting much but this work light is actually pretty cool. It has four settings of one or two panels at low or high. The high truly is very powerful for such a small light and without measuring it, I'm sure it is at least 1000 lumens. Since it is an LED light, you will never have to replace bulbs and it does swing in a 360 degree fashion with the panel able to separate and diverge...It actually is a nice little light to use both at a work bench or garage or to have handy in the car when you travel.....thumbs up !!!!

Buying this would be a bright idea. Seriously this thing is bright. When using it you don't want to position it anywhere you'll be looking towards or you'll be seeing spots. It has several options for brightness. I used it at the maximum setting for an hour and it never dimmed and the battery still had some life left in it. It charges quickly and you could charge your phone off it in a pinch. The only complaint I have is when adjusting the angle of the lights to get them facing the same direction the plastic housing rubs against itself. This is an issue because there is a very small ridge/ seam on the housing and it gets caught when rotation. While turning it around I actually had to put a flathead between to pry it over the seam to get the lights together. If I just forced it it would have broken the plastic. This is a very minor complaint and wouldn't keep me from buying it. I just thought I'd mention it. The manufacturer isn't likely to change the mold just to correct this.

Pretty cool light This emergency light is very versatile. The stand moved in many different positions so you can be hands-free if you need to be and you can choose to use only one light (low beam) or both at once (high beam). It comes with a USB cable for charging and you can also flip it around for recharging your phone if needed. The light has two ports. That's really handy. My blind Lab went out early this morning and didn't come back as expected so I got Hyper Tough 1000 Lumen USB Rechargeable Folding Portable Work Light and went out to help him find the way back. It is really bright. High is 1000 Lumens and the box says it will shine for 6.5 hours. Low is 200 Lumens and the box says it will shine for 10 hours. I don't know how accurate that is but I should have plenty of light when needed. I really like it and will put it in the car for Emergencies. This would make a great gift for a loved one.

Light is bright and works well. It's fairly lightweight and would be good as a work light, camping or emergency light. Two bars of lights that can be split/angled different directions. Can use with one bar on or two. High/low power for 1 or 2 bars. With Both bars on High mine lasted 7+ hours (obviously it would be higher on low power or 1 bar). It took almost 4 hours to fully recharge after that. Uses standard USB-Micro B charge cord (included). The two legs can be set at any angle. Could easily be hung from a nail or hook. Brightness in my dark garage is very good to work on vehicle. Lights an indoor room nicely in Power outage situation. It is not stated that it is "Waterproof" but it seems/feels like it would be resistant to a light rain. Feels pretty rugged. I received this free to test.

I'm very impressed with this Hyper Tough portable work light! The whole unit feels well-built; very tough, hard plastic body and framework. The frame acts like legs; you can rotate upper and lower halves to provide a multitude of angled leg bases...from totally flat to 45-60 degrees of angled bases for the LED lights. You can even fold the legs together to hold the work light like a flashlight! Angle the two LED panels out, and you have a very wide, dispersed lighted area! The power on/off button controls the LED output; the brightest setting is supposedly 1000 lumens. (I can't measure that, but when I tested the lamp in a completely pitch-black garage in the evening, the full 1000 lumen setting lit up the entire garage, while sitting on a small table top, pointed to the garage ceiling!) The power button settings control brightness settings, from low-high for one panel, to low-high on both panels. The USB power cable to recharge the unit is 40 inches long. Next to the power input connection is a standard USB output connection plug to use to charge your tablet, laptop, or cell phone. When I first opened the box, the instructions stated to charge the unit before using it. The blue power indicator lights (four) had three lights illuminated, indicating to me that the unit was shipped with approximately 75% charged. I plugged it in for a recharge, and it took about an hour to fully charge (showing all four blue indicator lamps glowing steady.) To test the unit's battery capability for recharging a phone, I connected my cell phone that had a 55% charge in it. Checked it an hour later, and my phone was 100% charged. I'm ok with that. This portable light is ideal to have at home for emergency lighting. It can also be used for camping, emergency roadside lighting. An excellent, portable worklight!

This light is one of the most versatile devices I've ever used. The base is extremely stable and I really like that you can easily change its position and stays securely locked in place. There is a control for both lights that allows you to turn one or both of them on at the same time as well two brightness settings. Since it is rechargeable via a USB port, that means I can use this anywhere without needing an outlet nearby. I have used it while in the garage, while working in a small, dark space while remodeling our master closet and anticipate it will be extremely useful in the event of a power outage. I highly recommend this product.

I knew this light would be powerful when I got it. What I didn't realize was how innovative it would be. My husband looked it over & checked out the bells & whistles. While he was turning the lights off & on and changing the direction of the lenses. Too bad for him, I realized how well it would fit in my trucks's emergency kit. When I'm on the road I can charge the light in my phone charger jack. The lights can be manipulated to stand like a tripod & aim the beams in many direction. It would be perfect for seeing under the hood for emergencies like a dead battery. I tried it out in my garage late at night, & I wasn't surprised. It lit up my engine compartment light daylight. It's a safety must have.

I am a Sparks Review team member. I was sent this work light at no charge in return for an honest review. Shortly after receiving the Hyper Tough One Thousand Lumen USB portable work light, our family went on a camping trip. I took the light along thinking a week in the wilderness would be a good test. We arrived at dusk, with four tents to set up. We all took turns lighting up our work areas. The light worked great! Not only did it give us all the lighting we needed..it was so convenient, the way you can adjust it, to sit squarely on the ground. You can also fold up the light and comfortably carry it around, to look for your tools. There are so many adjustments that fit every need! With just a click of the button..you have two blindingly bright lights! Another click dims both lights to half strength..another click, one bright light..next click, one dimmer light. Perfect for every application. The legs adjust from folding together for carrying like a flashlight, to three quarters of a circle, for sitting securely on a flat surface, or the ground. The light was used frequently over the next week, without needing to be recharged. (Four blue lights on the back tell you if you are fully charged.) I just have one complaint. It did not come with a plug in adapter to charge the light in an a.c. Outlet. I will have to go buy one. Bummer.

This light is rechargeable and as such can be used for a number of purposes. I envision keeping it in the car as an emergency light. It comes with a usb cord to plug into a computer, I would have liked an adapter also to plug into a wall but I will have to buy that separately. The instructions say it charges faster from a wall outlet. There is a place on the light where you can use the charged up battery to charge a cell phone or other device-again, I might expect to use this function in an emergency. The battery was half charged when received and I charged it using my computer. It took about an hour to charge to 100%. You press the on button to scroll through the high/low lighting options. I like that if the light has been on 10 minutes or more, one press of the button will turn it off. You don't have to scroll through the remaining lighting options. The stand is very nice and the light can be tilted to shine in a number of directions. Very practical and useful. This is a wonderful emergency or work light. I expect to use it often. I recommend this item. 4 stars due to not providing the adapter plug-it would have been convenient for me to have. The light is very bright and you can have bright or dim light on 1 or 2 sides providing many options to increase use time on the battery based on your needs.
