These ear plugs do a good job cancelling noise while sleeping or on an airplane. You may hear ambient sounds, but not enough to keep you awake if you're trying to sleep. However IF your ear canal is larger than the average bear, the effectiveness diminishes a bit as the ear plug is simply not as snug as it could be. I have one ear canal larger than the other, and the noise reduction in that particular ear is slightly less. Overall I find their effectiveness out weighs the little bit of noise that remains.

I gave this one a four-star because they seem to irritate my ears. maybe it might not do that to anybody else but I do have sensitive skin.

They are soft and very pliable. The ear plugs are bright orange so they are not easy to lose. The downfall is is that they are very small, and they have a bell shape so they don't fit into the ear like some of the other ones that I have used. They move around a lot so you're exposed to sounds and noises every time you move. I'm sure these will work great for a concert or for mowing the lawn or some other loud noises.... however I would not recommend them for sleeping with. If you move in bed, the earplug will shift and you will hear all the noises!

made well too big for my ears made me bleed every time i thought i just got a big pair but that wasnt it....they are all lile that and the entire pack is misshapen i tool every single one out of the bag and compared them to each other to see the differences they are all shaped differently i have been using earplugs for many years and these are the first ive had that where this misshapen that werent just a couple dollars i mean for the price i was expecting macks quality earplugs thats why i got them they where out of macks so i got these jokers well guess the jokes on me huh

I have small ear canals. They don't even expand sufficiently to adequately block out the sound. I don't like the material on addition.

I had a very bad allergic reaction to these ear plugs, inside my ear very red and hurt to touch. won't purchase these again

DID NOT WORK - I DON'T RECOMMEND I received these earplugs and it just so happened that our apartment building fire alarms went off later that night and stayed on for nearly an hour. I really try to be fair when I review something, so this is my personal experience. The “bell” shape is solid (feels like a piece of clay) and far too large for my ears. I have normal sized ears, so if you are a child or small in stature, I can't recommend this item at all. The earplugs constantly popped out. Also, when I was able to keep them in for a minute or two, they did not lessen the alarm sound at all.

These stink! They don't work at all. And fitting inside your ear, they don't stay in or fit securely uncomfortably. They just on phone back out and fall out of the ear. And they also make noise a lot more loud and prominent in your ear. Totally waste of money I wish I never bought them.
