I really like this headset. The exchangeable earcups are very useful for different uses and the removable mic is an added bonus. The only thing I found wrong with them is the quality of the mic, but then again it's a gaming headset they arent supposed to have good mics, we are here for the sound quality. And boy oh boy does it have that, the sounds come in loud and clear. Also with the fabric covers on it, I can barely tell the headset is on my head. Now the price might seem a little steep at first for those of you who are buying their first expensive pair but just wait for a good deal and grad it then (I got mine for only $80). All around I like the headset and would recommend it to friends.
The audio quality is very good. The USB sound adapter has a very aggressive noise filter that is hands down excellent for voice communication, but not for music. It has flexibility. You can bypass the USB adapter and plug on directly to a 3.5 mm headset connector on a phone or computer!
great for pc gaming. the mic is nice and the sound is fantastic. better than my old razers in audio quality. I personally doubt use the mic, as I have a separate setup for that, so I appreciate that you can unplug the mic easily. the best headset I have owned ever as compared to my razer and turtle beaches. highly recommend for the price point especially.
Had these for over a month now and no problems. I use them for gaming. Love the way they completely cover the ears so I don't hear anything else but footsteps in the game. Sound is perfect. Had no problems with construction of this headset either, but that's why I buy here instead of AmZn.
Overall I'm pleased with these, the sound quality is decent and No one complains about not being able to hear me. My only criticism is the ridiculous mute “switch” on the side. It's tiny and not very sensible and if you use these in the phone like I do, it's not very practical. If they'd make the mute a button in the main control face, these would be 5 star in my opinion.
Bought intially to replace my Turtle beach stealth 600 Gen 2 that broke after 2 years, Hadphone quality is nice on the Hyper x Cloud 2. the mic quality sounds like when they distort the voice on tv, used with xbox one x, the sound controller that comes with it does not work with console.
I don't use them I bought them for someone else and they use them with their Xbox one X and there one S and they said that they sound really good that there's no static or anything like that You can understand what people says and they can understand you clearly but however they are not completely wireless though becuz you have to plug the headphones into your controller an then you have to run a cord to your console enable to use the volume buttons and to mute. The person i bought them for also said that they are very comfortable to wear though that they were light weight an don't feel like there squishing your head until you get a headache after hours of wearing them. So with that being said I'm really disappointed and upset about all this becuz I feel like I was misled by the advertisements for these gaming headphones becuz i was under the impression by them that they were completely wireless so I'm really embarrassed upset an mad becuz the gift was suppose to of been wireless gaming headphones.
It's a really good headset for the price it's at. Everything checks out, but the microphone does lack a little. If you want the best experience get a separate microphone since it does sound pretty bad.
Bought this as a gift for Christmas, but as soon as we opened it, we noticed scuffing on one side of the earphones. It was minimal so we didn't mind. After plugging it in, we thought it was issues with sound settings, but after spending 30 min trying to adjust, we plugged my cousin's headphones in and realized it wasn't a sound issue but just an issue with the product. The sound in the right side was completely non existent.
Mic did not work with Xbox right out of the box. Had to instantly claim warranty from Kingston. Apparently the mic not working out of the box new is a pretty common issue since 2017. Sad to see.
