I Saw the Light (Blu-ray)

This only tells part of the Hank Williams story. I know its hard to fit in a lifetime in just a couple of hours, but the movie should have intermingled the good times that Hank had as well. As a true Hank Williams fan, I loved it. But it did leave out a lot of important details. Seemed to focus more on the drug and alcohol abuse, his infidelity, and the downward slide in Hanks life and career that led to his untimely death, rather on the good times, the success, and legacy that led to the rise of country music being accepted worldwide.

Actually had it available after looking other places for it. Great price for Bluray and fast delivery.

So impressed with the dedication of Tom Hiddleston

It is a good documentary movie for those interested in knowing more about the life of Hank Williams. It would probably not be highly entertaining for the general audience.

Great movie, lots of special features, and I liked that it was bluray and digital, EXCEPT, it lost a star because the digital is exclusively a Ultra Violet code. This digital code will not work with iTunes, and for me at least this pretty much defeats the purpose of buying the bluray and digital. It took several hours to set up, and I had to create online profiles on three different websites, and download multiple apps(ultraviolet, sony, and vudu/flixster) just to get this digital. I would have rather bought the bluray and the iTunes version separately.

Movie story line jumped around a bit, but the overall message came through.
