I Turn to You

When I first heard that Richie was leaving Lonestar. I immediately thought, bad move Richie. My first thought was that Richie's solo carrer would not pan out as it had for John Rich. All that changed when I bought Richie's debut CD. This is the first CD in 8 years in which every song just hits the mark. "Carrry the Cross" is downright rockin' and quickly reminds us to carry the cross for Him and the sacrifice he made for all of us. "Handle with Prayer" and "I Turn to You" are VERY well done. "Walls" was hauntingly moving. And "Measure of a Man", of all the songs on this CD, when I heard Pat Tillman's name, Oh I shed some tears for him. "Measure of a Man" reminds us of the men that sacrificed everything to go do what it is that they love. If your a fan of Lonestar, this is a must have. A must have as well if you enjoy Country or Chriatian music. AFter a while, you forget that this is the same guy who helped Lonestar all those years.

Whether you're traditionally a Christian music or Country music fan, you will love this record! After writing and performing more number one hits than I can count with Lonestar, Richie's first solo record is a gift to long time fans and new listeners. Classy and so well written, these songs will stick with you and touch you in a way you might find surprising if you're not already familiar with Richie's talent. From haunting melodies to driving rhythms, this record has it all. It is FULL of hits for either Christian or Country radio, but not too Country for Christian listeners or vice versa. You will love it! I promise! Buy one for you and a friend if you can!

I've had this CD for a week and can't seem to get enough of it. I am always totally amazed at Richie's talent for singing, writing and being able to touch my family's life through his music. This CD is exactly what I had expected it to be and I am so proud of Richie for making it. Every single song is filled with truth and inspiration. Each one is sung with a passion that only comes from the heart. Great job Richie! You have amazed me again.

After 16 years with Lonestar, Richie McDonald is stepping out in faith, and releasing his first solo cd; it's the cd he's always wanted to do; and what a step it is! There's not one track on the cd that is a throw-a-way. All the songs are uplifting. My favorite track is "Faith", and I think that's what we all need to get through this life. I think this cd will speak to alot of people's hearts. And not only will the Lonestar fans like it, I think it will speak to alot of other people as well. Thank You, Richie for stepping out in faith; it's a great cd!

This CD is just what I needed to hear. These songs are so beautiful and inspiring to me. What a way to feel the joy and faith through the lyrics on this CD. I love Richie's voice as Lonestar and now as a Christian singer...it just gets better. Way to go Richie and Jason..."FAITH" is so moving and I love it.

I have had this CD for about 3 weeks and listen to it all the time. It is very inspirational, catchy tunes that you want to sing along, and I have used it for a prayer session. Songs are well written. My husband even loves it. Since purchasing my copy, I ordered 12 more and have given them away, and plan to use them for Christmas presents. A great testimony to the Christian faith. You won't be disappointed.

What a cd! The powerful voice behind so many Lonestar hits did not disappoint that's for sure! Richie's powerful voice will seep deep into your soul as he belts out such powerful songs as "Faith", "What would He do" and "Walls". Absolutely incredible cd. It's also very notable that Richie included an acoustic version of the song "Hey God", which is already familar and loved by Lonestar fans. True to Richie's songwriting nature, all but two songs ("I turn to you" and "Stay with me Lord") on this cd were co-written by him. This cd is sure to lift one's hopes and inspire all who listen to it.

I've always been a huge fan of Lonestar, so when I heard Richie McDonald was coming out with a new solo project, I was ecstatic! I got this CD as soon as it hit the shelves, and it hasn't left my CD player since! Simply amazing. Richie's voice is incredible, and his songs are so inspiring!! The lyrics are very thoughtful, and well put. It's always encouraging to see that a person with a big name like Richie McDonald can still be so grounded, and have a true passion that is displayed in his music. This is one of the best albums I've heard all year! You have to get it!

We hope this is the first of many inspiritational CD's that Richie McDonald will come out with! He is a a talented man of many gifts and his music is a God given talent that he was blessed with! I love all the songs, but my favorite is "Hey God!) It reminds us to thank God on a day to day basic and not to forget who blesses us with so much! Go today to your nearest Wal-Mart and purchase this CD, many of them! They make great gifts also! You will be so glad you did! It stays in our CD player and is such a great CD to praise God!
