Window Screens for the Garden
I use window screens to put on top of my patio pots to keep out the squirrels and the birds. On Good Friday, I planted my zinnia seeds, okra seeds, and alyssum seeds in their big pots. I watered them. Then I put a window screen on top of each pot. Today, all the seeds are up and doing well. Tomorrow, I will probably remove the screens. Those screens were just the right size. The fact that they are adjustable makes them even more useful later on, when I might need to cover up something else that is a little bigger. They are heavy enough to stay put during a thunderstorm, but not too heavy for the pots. The best part was the price. They are well made and sturdy and should last a long time. They were a good investment.
