IAMS PROACTIVE HEALTH Adult Urinary Tract Health Dry Cat Food with Chicken, 16 lb. Bag

I was told to buy a special brand of urinary control cat food, which was almost $100.00 a bag. I saw Iams had urinary control cat food. So I bought it instead of the expensive brand that the vet recommended. My cat has not had another episode since!

I was so excited to see a urinary formula from Ians. My 10 year old male cat has been on many different urinary formulas to try to prevent him from having urinary track infections. He liked this formula right away and has been eating it for a few weeks. The only issue is he will tire of a formula cat food and refuse to eat it. Our vet said this is just how some cats get when they are older.

I have to feed my cats food made for urinary tract health because one of them has trouble with stones.. I have 5 inside and 1 outside. I switched to this food because the ingredients were better than what I was feeding... My cats really like it and I could tell a big difference in them after they started eating it.. won't give details but bodily functions were better.. they really like it and they look better

My cats are very finicky when it comes to dry or wet food. Prior to purchasing IAMS dry Urinary Tract, I purchased Pro Plan dry Urinary Health, but, they weren't eating a lot of Pro Plan dry food. They difference is, they completely stop eating Pro Plan to eat IAMS. I have to replace more IAMS everyday or every 2 days to keep up with their new favorite urinary health brand.

I started purchasing this food earlier this year. I had two male cats that developed urinary blockages. Unfortunately. they did not make it. The vet told me they had developed urinary crystals due to the other food I was feeding them. So, I have other male cats to protect. I started buying this due to its low magnesium levels. Magnesium and phosphorus seem to contribute to this problem. I am hoping to never have to deal with the pain of losing any cats to this issue ever again. So far, this food is working. I would recommend it.

My cat suffered from frequent urinary tract infections. We took him to the vet regularly because he would have blood in his urine, and the vet always prescribed him steroids. The steroids were only effective at temporarily treating the issue, were bad for his health, and his infections always returned. Since we switched to this food, our cat is healthier, doesn't pee on the couch to tell us he is sick, and we get to avoid costly (and ultimately ineffective) visits to the vet.

My cats seem to really like this food. They range in age from 12 to 3. I also don't think they've had as many hairballs. I try to buy what's good for them on a limited budget. This was worth every penny.

vet recommended royal canin urinary calm cat food but after several purchases too costly SO changed to this brand. Used 3 weeks and cat has not had urinary problems, Wish me luck

It's a good cat food since my kitty has to eat this type of food, it doesn't upset her tummy just wished they have more flavors she gets tired of the same old food. The cost like everything else has went up.

My 7 cats have been on it for a couple months now. They seem to be hungry all the time. I have to believe it's helping with the UTI. I switched to shredded cardboard and paper for their litter to get away from chemicals.
