I soaked the ham loaf in a tropical blend of spices, after putting slices across the top, in a shallow pan. Then, I baked it in the oven for approximately 35 minutes. It's just as good as other brands. Well worth it!
Great quality great taste and a wonderful price makes this canned ham well worth the purchase!
Delicious little Ham. Very tasty, moist and worth the price. It tastes much better and has a far better consistency than the Dak canned ham, that's for sure. Made several nice Ham sandwiches out of this can. This Iberia canned ham is often sold out or not at my particular Walmart, but I WILL purchase several again IF they become available on line.
i prefer this ham for dishes where the ham is mixed with potatoes or beans in a crock pot. Not the best style Ham as the main course.
great product just too expensive in this economy
This is not a solid canned ham like Black Label or Hormel. It's a bunch of broken-up pieces gelled together and formed into a shape. Very unappetizing. Nobody liked it. It was the only canned ham available at the time or I wouldn't have spent good money on it. I would have rather had Spam to tell the truth!
I Purchased this thinking that it was a ham, I meant to say the real cooked ham. When I opened it looks like a small spam ham nothing like the picture and it taste just like a spam ham small can.
the description said ham. maybe it should have said processed ham. actually more like spam. when I think of him I think of Deli counter ham. this is a far cry from that. no wonder it was so cheap. I'll not buy again.
I bought this ham about 4 years ago (Not from Walmart), and found it to be a pretty darn good little canned ham. Anyway, I came to purchase a few things a few days ago, and I saw that these Iberia hams were in stock and decided to purchase one as a treat. OMG, It was no treat but a TRICK. I cannot believe how utterly BAD this ham tastes now, some 4 years later. It's so bad that I cannot even describe the texture of it. It resembles a shapeless, mushy, salty wet blob in a can. It's one hideous product! I threw it away after one bite full, and I hate wasting money. I have no earthly clue what Iberia did TO this poor little Ham, but they've done something to it that isn't good. I wouldn't accept one even if someone gave it to me, and would struggle to eat it even if I hadn't eaten a bite of food for a 24-hour span. I wouldn't give this to my dog if I had one. Don't buy this ham. It tastes HIDEOUS!!!!
What the heck is this? It's not ham. It had a gelatin consistensy. Now the price goes up too. I would noy buy again.
