IC ICLOVER 7-Port Powered USB 3.0 Hub Splitter Adapter High Speed Extension with on/off Switches for PC Laptop Macbook Desktop

Everything I plug into it connects immediately and has plenty of ports for what I need.

This works very well with my laptop, which has limited USB ports. I like the individual port switches and lights. The flat cable is a bit inflexible, and the power adapter plugs into the unit awkwardly, but it all functions very well once connected.

1. Supplied cables were all very short. 2. The USB cable will not stay in the plug. Any sideways force on teh cable will pull it out. 3. The supplied powere adapter plug does nnot fully seat on teh jack - sticks out more than 50% and also falls out with any jostling of it. I am going to have to tape this unit down and tape both connectors in place to keep them from coming out.

This powered USB hub did what I needed for a couple of weeks after receiving it, then it stopped working. It would constantly disconnect and reconnect. It did not matter even if nothing was plugged in to it. I would see it do the disconnect/reconnect in device manager and hear the disconnect/reconnect sound.

DO NOT buy this piece of junk! 1 of the ports didn't work at all even though the light turns on and off with the toggle switch and all of the other ports only transfer data at approx. 30Mbps. My other USB 3.0 hub that I was going to replace with this one ( it has power plug issues ) transfers data at over 200Mbps using the exact same drives and USB port on my laptop. This IC Clover hub also has other issues. The power plug only goes into the hub about halfway ( half of the metal barrel extends outside of the hub ) and the USB cable doesn't connect securely in the hub. The power adapter came in a small styrofoam bag in my package and the USB container doesn't list it so I think that it must be just something that "works" for the hub as an addon from the seller.

Not one of the 7 ports made a connection! It was easy to install. All the lights lit when their respective switch was turned on, BUT there was NO SIGNAL from any of the ports to my computer. I tried all the USB ports on my computer with same zero results. I reconnected my old hub that this one was to replace, and it works just fine. So I'll keep using it until I can get a truly QUALITY hub.

power plug doesn't seat into the hub, the power supply light pulses as do the indicators on the usb hub. burned out my tablet trying to charge it. horrible and a big WARNING!!! DO NOT PURCHASE!!!

Straight out of the package the AC cord doesn't work. Leaving you with the short barely flexible blue usb cord which is completely impractical. Once it's plugged in with the only cord that works, it seems to do what it's supposed to. The seller only does refunds, no replacements, and expects the entire product shipped back to them. Terrible policy.

Does not work at all unless hooked up to a computer, not even for charging. Makes usb items do weird stuff when computer it is hooked to is shut down...and not just the items connected to the hub but ones connected to the computer itself. Does not provide enough power to items even when plugged into both external power and a computer. An externally powered USB hub should be capable of charging a phone or other batteries. It might work for usb drives but am unsure as I have not bothered to try but if that is all it is good for then why purchase an externally powered hub in the first place.

It failed and stopped working in less than a month.
