Ice-A-Way® Rock Salt, 50 lb Bag, 49/Pallet

[Employee of walmartcanada] Bought a bag of this to melt a thick layer of ice at the bottom of our long driveway. There is a slight hill at the bottom of our driveway and I struggled to make it out when I went to work the other afternoon. When I came home that night I spread the Safe-T-Salt over the ice and it melted it by the time I left for work the next morning. Great product.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We can't go through any winter without the Windsor safe-t-salt. It's a necessity for our Canadian winters. We throw it on the ground and helps us get up our driveway.

Lumpy but worked on ice

This product is conveniently packaged in a durable plastic bag it isn't too heavy and spreadable one opened. The price point seems way too high for just plain salt… last year I bought for a much cheaper price…

Very poor quality this year. Most of the rocks were about 1/2 inch in size ... not stuck together, I mean each individual piece was that size, like gravel. Being so large, it was hard to get much overall distribution, and this was the first time I couldn't get rid of the ice using this product. Also, at least half of it was brown, not white, seemed to include a lot of dirt.

They add a transportation cost per bag. DONT BUY

My order was for 2 pallets contains 49 bags each pallet of the 50lbs bags. All that was shipped to my home was 2 boxes with 1 bag each box.. false advertising and I just want my money back.
