ICECO VL75 ProD 79 Quarts Portable Refrigerator Multi-directional Lid Dual Freezer Steel Compact

Bought the VL75PROD about 4 months ago. Ran both sides at 38 degrees for at least 2 months on AC house current at before loading into the bed of my truck (that has a cap on it). I vented the cap windows about 2 inches for air circulation. I have an isolated 70AH second battery under the hood specifically for camping use. Set the small side to 9 degrees and the large side to 38 degrees. Middle position for battery discharge and economy mode when I left. Ran back roads, mountain paths, nasty back roads, mud pits, and bounced it around harder than I probably should have. Worked perfectly for 1 month on 12 volt DC and 6,200 miles of travel. BTW. It ran perfectly in 115 degree weather in Nevada. (Probably was 140 degrees inside the cap) It also ran perfectly in 50 degree weather at 12,000 ft altitude. I would never hesitate to recommend it or buy another one !!!

Purchased this for emergencies. I live in an area where we see the occasional hurricane and power outages. Checked it out both AC and DC. Ran almost 48 hours off my particular solar battery. Kept the frig/freezer at 34/0 degrees. Hopefully, it will come through when needed.

I've had the VLPro75D for about 6 months now, and it has taken all I have thrown at it with ease. Its mounted on a slide in the back of my Tacoma, and has bounced all across Colorado and Utah without a single hiccup. I've powered it from the truck and a Jackery 500w power station, with the power station keeping up for about 36-48 hours depending on how cold I am running. Draws about 55-60w while both zones are cooling and drops to 2-4w when not. I've found it can get down to temperature in about an hour or less, and recovers from regular opening very quickly if the contents are cold. Keeping below freezing is no issue, and Ice doesn't melt a single drop. The dual zone is a must for me, I love having ice around for cocktails. I do wish they would do the 60D in the Pro model, as I have only had the 75D filled to capacity once when we were on a 10 day cross country. Maybe I'll have to get that too if/when they release it. I was concerned about it taking all the bumps an hits while off road because it is heavy, yet it has survived numerous passes across the Rockies, and most recently made it through Hells Revenge in Moab strapped in the bed. All the dust, ups, downs, side hills, and bumps and it never missed a beat, and the beer was cold when we pulled into camp! A slide is a must, this thing is heavy. Waiting for ICECO to release a slide for it, along with insulation, not that it really needs it but more for protection from the elements. My homebuilt slide setup can handle it for now but not a forever solution. The dual lid system is awesome, allowing access from both sides, or removal of the lid entirely. Cant even begin to tell you how handy that is when loading and unloading, or accessing when the truck is packed full. I also commend ICECO for putting a 12v plug on both ends of the fridge. Makes any set up easy and keeps cords manageable especially when slide mounted. All in all, I would highly recommend it based on my experience so far, and thank you ICECO for being innovative, and building a quality product at a reasonable price!

I use it in my semi truck to eat better on the road. Works great so far and love the high quality build and how the lids open from both sides and come completely off if needed during restocking. Great piece of gear. Cools and seems to stay cool on less than 100 watts on my inverter. Usually around 40-50.

I haven't had a chance to actually use it yet. I'm impressed with the build quality when unboxing it. I purchased it now as it was on-sale and wasn't sure if I'd find a better deal. Setting up my truck for overlanding and probably won't actually use it until the spring when the truck is all setup. I also needed the frig/freezer now so I could do my camper shell build out with a slide for the frig.

Ordered VL75Pro. UPS delivered on time, packaging exhibited signs of potential damage. Discovered a small ding in the front panel (exactly where our client would see it). Contacted the company and they made it work for us and out client. Waiting to see how well it performs this winter and especially next summer.

This is my 2nd IceCo. First one was VL60ProS and was very impressed with it. Decided to get the VL75ProD for the dual zone. Just as happy with it. Uses more power but still has great performance. The price is a lot cheaper than some of the competitors.

This was the envy of the camping trip from all my friends and family. The convenience of not needing to get ice and having all my stuff wet from melted ice was amazing. It’s easy to use and the baskets make it easy to take things out for moving the unit around or accessing stuff on the bottom. Would recommend to anyone.

I received my VL75 Pro about 10 days ago. The box was in ruff condition but the cooler was in great shape. I recommend a different type of banding for the box due to the handling by the carriers. Three way banding would be great. The Freezer: I absolutely love the freezer. I plugged it in and everything worked fantastic! The freezer dropped to 3 degrees in a hurry. Lots of room for food and drinks! We are planning a trip to the outer banks next month. 100% primitive camping for 4 days on the island. No food or water unless we bring it, hence the purchase of the freezer. I’m excited not to have my food floating in ice water by the 2nd day out there. My coworkers were more than delighted to see it. The construction is very rugged. I will let you know how it goes! Thanks Iceco!

I have been using the VL75 for a little over a month now, running almost 24/7. It keeps everything cold, period. I have one side set to 0F, the other 38F. Temperatures are consistent, and it has the capacity to cool down warmer items quickly. You can tell that a lot of thought was put into this. For example, being able to open the lids from either side, or just lift off, makes it so easy to pack. And the fact that it remembers the power setting is huge, I discovered this by accident and was elated - started my car, and didn't have to remember to turn the cooler back on! I took this on a short camping trip, and actually had way more space for food since I didn't need ice... and my food wasn't floating around in icky water. It doesn't get any better. This thing is built like a tank, and looks great too. Solid 5 stars.
