I like that I can make a single serving without have to get out the measuring cups and calculate how much water I need if I use only part of the pouch. The only problem with these cups and though the fill line is obvious on the outside it is difficult to find and see the indentation when measuring the water. could you make the fill line a little more obvious where it matters white indentation, covered with potato dust for white potatoes. maybe you could think outside the box for a better way.
My husband and I often eat at different times, so we fix what we want, often quite different because of my food allergies. One day he asked if I had a pack of instant mashed potatoes. Pack? No, but I have a bowl that contains one to two servings depending on how hungry you are. Well, I gave him one and soon he was an instant fan. I now buy him the box of eight. We also have two family members who are gluten free. These delicious potatoes are. I've used them for a quick potato soup. I've used them for a quick, different potato salad. I used them for an open face roast beef sandwich. As you can see, these small bowls of instant potatoes come in handy. I doubt I could tell the difference in them and real mashed potatoes. I've used the box size to make mashed potatoes for Thanksgiving and no one seemed to know they came from a box. I made a 9 x 13 dish of them and not a bite was wasted. These small bowls come in handy for one, or two. Try them, you just need to add water. You may add anything else that you enjoy but they are good right from the bowl.
When you have multiple stomach issues as you get older you sometimes just need a little something here and there and these lil' spuds 🥔 are perfect for any occasion I assure you. Naturally it can be seasoned, loaded up with bacon, ham, or just cheese and sour cream, the possibilities with these lil' cups are endless. Rather if your under the weather, have health issues, want a quick snack, or on the go these lil' cups of spuds are perfect 👌
I usually homemade my mashed potatoes but these are good. Good for someone who is on a budget, someone who can't swallow regular food, soft and smooth and not a waste like for a flake box or homemade.
So quick without boiling potatoes. The flavor is good. I have tried other brands but the Idahoan really is the best. AND Walmars tprice is unbeatable.
not bad value and it don't long to make, taste is good too, even better then boxes and package. Dont have time to make potatoes, then this is next best thing
I don't typically like instant mashed potatoes, but these are pretty good. Experiment with water and milk to get a creamy consistency and taste. Good as a quick side dish.
This great!! A great idea for those who had dental surgery and those who are wearing dentures. It's nice and soft and quite tasty too plain!!! I bought four boxes of mashed potatoes for my dentures. HH
These are a decent sub for making them from real potatoes at home. I keep them in the pantry. They are smooth and creamy, but I substitute milk for the water when I make them. I also add gravy, from either what I'm making meat-wise or from store bought in jars. I often add shredded cheese or some red or green salsa to them for variety. They are a welcome substitute when I'm in a rush or don't feel like peeling potatoes.
These mashed potato cups are a lifesaver to keep on hand. One cup is a good size serving for me. The only 4 I gave was because the potatoes in a pouch from the same company have a better taste.
