iDesign Kitchen Cabinet Trash Can, 2.7 Gallon Metal Rectangular Hanging Open Top Garbage Bin, Bronze

I bought this for my fifth wheel camper. My one year old likes to get "stuff" out of the garbage. It is decent sized. I lined it with a 13 gallon liner and about 1/3 of the bag folds over the top. I like how the hooks aren't big and gaudy when it's hooked over the door.

Truly the perfect size for Wal-mart shopping bags. Very sturdy. Nice finish on the metal. Has the hooks for over-the-top hanging or chains if you'd rather attach it that way (or in case the hooks are too small to fit on your available ledge). The compact design is a great idea; it won't jut out far from your hanging surface so it works in narrow spaces where other bins won't fit. Wal-mart could consider lowering the price a few dollars because you can find this exact same item less expensively at other places, but Wal-mart tends to have it in stock when other places do not.

I like this for my food waste collection. I put a plastic and then a paper bag on it. I can conveniently open my cabinet and drop the food waste in it and avoiding unsightly trash can on the counter.

This is very convenient in my small apartment kitchen. No unsightly garbage can sitting out for all to see. You can use those plastic grocery bags we all have lots of to save money.

Good concept but may not always work. Did not work for below sink cabinet door so was planning to return it but a friend liked it so ended selling to her.

I really Ike this basket,I was pleased to see how durable and pleasing Tobey it is ,another aspect I really liked was the fact that you can hang it inside ,but looks great our side too,great for veggie storage ,wraps,trash( much to pretty for trash though) love this basket and I will be buying a few more .

Just hang it over a cabinet door, inside or out, and you have a storage basket or insert a bag and you have a trash can. It fits easily over standard size cabinets and allows the cabinet to still shut smoothly as the hooks are thin.

I am a home cook. I bought this to put inside my cabinet for those days that I am cooking away in the kitchen. I can put my food scraps in here and keep the mess off of my counters and wait to go to the compost bin until I am done cooking for the day. If I am not composting it saves me several trips across the kitchen with runny dirty hands and other stuff from cooking to throw it into the garbage can and I can just tie up my little bag and the smells and mess stay right there instead of dripping across my floor.

I am moving and the kitchen area does not have room for a garbage can, so I thought this would be a good idea. I love the fact that it uses the grocery store bags. The only downfall is that the hinge hits slightly therefore the cabinet door doesn't close quite tight but it's not bad. But that might not happen with all cabinets. It is nice looking and seems to be sturdy.
