I love it! It is so simple and has such a sleek design. I love the color. It is super easy to clean and it does not cause a lot of build up on it from soaps. I hate when that happens. It sticks well abd is very sturdy. I am very happy with its performance.
This is a great product. We are currently using it as a soap holder. Plenty of room for a full bar of soap, plenty of room for a sponge, or anything needed around a sink or bath area. The suction cups hold well. The silver color is very nice, complements decor nicely. Easy to use, easy to get to stick where you want. Overall great product.
Overall, I've had good experiences with this sponge holder. It is such a necessary item to have at your kitchen sink, especially if you are using your sponge all day long! The suction cups need to be moistened before attempting to adhere them to the side of the sink; otherwise they don't stick and the holder will fall. The aluminum coating of the holder is sleek; it helps keep it cleaner and it's smooth to the touch. When you go to pick up your sponge or set it back, the aluminum is soft and nice for your hands. The color blends well to any stainless steel or metal sink. Overall, this sponge holder does its job; it holds my sponge and it looks pleasant in our kitchen.
The design is simple. The finish is modern. The suction cups stick nicely to the side of the sink. Get the suction cups wet before sticking them on for a tight grip. It holds the sponge in the middle and due to the design the sponge can dry out on all sides. You can hang wash rags and other things on the hooks which is nice.
I have been wanting to get a holder for my kitchen sponges but the plastic ones with drain holes are still going to hold moisture and they will grow mildew. Gross! Metal ones are going to rust so that isn't much better. So when I saw this design I was intrigued! I liked the open design that will allow my kitchen sponges to dry and not sit on the side of the sink where water pools and the bacteria are going to have the perfect environment to grow. The only down side is that it is taking up space in the sink area, (I have 2 sides versus one large) and if I am entertaining or cooking a big meal this will take up extra room. I liked that it fit a full size sponge or my favorite handled sponge. So overall I would recommend this product.
The suction cups do not work as intended on Metal sinks. One side keeps losing grip after a few hours no matter where I put it. Prepare to have it keep slipping down when you least expect it. Just don't play around with it too much. Google “how to keep suction cups staying stuck”
This works as it should. Keeps my sponges off the back of my sink, I like that aspect of this item.It has fallen a couple times. I am not a fan of having it in the sink but I don't think there's too many other options. It seems to be in the way when doing dishes.
I love the silver finish and wide cradle of this sponge holder! It looks like just what I need for my thicker sponges. But, even though I tried different sides of my sink, the holder is in the bottom of the sink every morning. Maybe it would work better in a sink that is not stainless, but it did not work for me.
It never stuck to any surface and I made sure each one had been cleaned and dried. I even tried it on a new white board in my classroom. It may be that I received a defective one. So I hot glued it to the whiteboard. So I am able to use it, just not the way it was intended.
I was excited to try this because I have been laying my sponges in the sink and they simply don't drain that way. This drainer does not work! The suction cups are flat. No curve to them whatsoever. They will not stay suctioned to my sink. I tried soaking them in hot water to get the silicone to shrink somewhat but it just doesn't work. I got so frustrated trying to get this to stay put. You can get it to stay for a little bit but that is with nothing in it. As soon as you put the sponge in the holder, it slips down into the sink. There is no use for this. It makes so sense to have it propped up in the bottom of the sink. I really wanted to like this but it is honestly not usable with the current suction cups.
