This worked so good. I had previously used rit dye for synthetic and everything came out different colors. When i used this it fixed that problem and everything came out the same color. Definitely using this product going forward.
Purchased for fabric that was polyester. Glad there is something available to dye polyester.
I loved the dye! Dyed a beautiful blouse I purchased! Great price too. Arrived quickly! Thank you so so much:)
The paint is made from high-quality pigments and has a smooth, creamy texture that is easy to work with. Raw Umber is a warm, earthy brown color that is helpful for me to use it on landscape and portrait painting. These paints are perfect for beginner and intermediate artists who want to experiment with acrylics. I loved its packaging tube and it keeps fresh and preserved. Overall highly recommended.
I didnt realize that you can toss the plastic baggy this comes in straight into the water, that would have simplified things for me! Also, i think the steam from boiling and stirring my dye project for 90 minutes drifted color droplets all over my kitchen, so maybe do this project outside if you can set up a campstove. I used this dye after a Ritt dye (white dress I tried to dye blue-green) failed to deliver and left my dress blotchy. This Jacquard stuff is a lot smellier, but works way better than Ritt! Baby blue is the before picture.
worked great!! it's slightly less pigmented than some of their other colors, but it's the exact color it says and I didn't boil it for the whole amount of time so I'm sure if I did it would be the exact right color. it's not the easiest product to use and it's difficult to use it without staining at least something else in my kitchen haha, but maybe in just clumsy. highly recommend
The color "intensifier" leaves an oily residue on the fabric and a chemical odor that lingers even after washing. Did not work well to due my polyester fabric, just tinted it a little bit darker and ruined to feel and smell of it. I've had better luck with the green dye on a slightly different stnthetic fabric, but the black did not come out as expected.
I would not recommend this product to anyone. I purchased this item to dye a dress that I have that I do not like the color, therefore, wanted the dress to be red. Kept it in the pot for over an hour on the stove. The dress didn't change color. I called the company in regard to this problem. I was transferred to someone's voicemail. Left a message, till this day have not heard from anyone. I definitely would not purchase this product again.
Does not not dye polyester black, its more like a shade of green but definitely no where close to black. Waste of money
Used this to dye polyester throws from grey to black for our couch. No matter how many times I wash and dry them in even the hottest water, the black dye comes off on everything. Now, they will be thrown away as the money spent on all of the dye packets was, too.
