I have been looking to expand my home security system and get cameras that cover my entire property. Being preventive when it comes to safety is always better than regretting later on that I did not prepare ahead of time to keep my property and family safe and secure. I really like this camera because of the fact that it is a rotating camera. So if I am viewing my camera remotely from the app (which it was super easy to get my camera added to the app) then I can rotate the camera left and right and tilt up and down to be able to see a field of view of almost 180 degrees. Motion detection is timely. I tilte it down about 45 degrees, is right, and reset its detection sensitivity. When I test to walk in front of it, it caught me. Its fantastic! The camera also comes with built in LED lights so that I can have it auto-illuminate when motion comes nearby. It also is super helpful at night if I want to view the camera and turn then light on to view what is happening more clearly. The smart siren is also a great feature where with a press of a button I can have it turn on a high pitched siren to scare away any person or animal that may be in its vicinity. Overall I am very impressed with this camera!

This is the third iegeek ptz camera i have purchased. The ability to pan 355 degrees makes it like having 3 cameras in one if you mount it on the corner of a building. I have several other brand cameras but the iegeek is by far the easiest to setup and maintain. The setup instructions are very well written and thorough. The solar panel works very well, I live in an area with very little sunshine in the winter months and my iegeek cameras have always maintained 100% charge. The cloudedge app has had a couple of hick-ups along the way but the customer service response has been excellent. It would be more convenient if the customer service was in the same time zone though, but they are quick to resolve any questions or problems. I have recommended this camera to several friends who are also very pleased with the performance. The price of the camera is also very reasonable. The wifi connection towards the camera is fast and stable as well. The picture quality is very clear with 2k resolution and very clear viewing and picture quality at night and morning. The alarm is loud and wakes up the whole house when it get trigger which is a great feature to have

I love our camera

My dad recently passed away and my mom lives alone now so I got this camera to cover her driveway, parking area that she can't see by looking out her window. It does give her some peace if mind and me too because I can see that she hasn't fallen or anything. Setup was easy. Just hold the power button and then the reset and it goes into setup mode. It is integrated into the CloudEdge app. At the time of the review a 3 day cloud loop storage subscription is $2.99 a month if you want to set that up. She lives in the country where it is pitch black at night, I was actually shocked at how far you could see at night. The.camera is a little slower to open video and respond than I would have liked but over it works out great for our purpose. it has been outside in freezing temperatures and storms and it doesn't seem to have effected it at all. My uncle is the one who physically put it up, drilling the holes and such and he was impressed too and now he wants one lol

These ieGeek cameras have been great. When I build a home I always hard wire a camera system. Then after the fact I add iegeek cameras on the perimeter. These ieGeek cameras work really well on the cloudadge app. I have had issues with the doorbell but otherwise great cameras. I recommend them if you want to be able to see your home when you are a way. Make sure however to get the warranty right away. I had an issue after 1 year and thank goodness I applied my warranty once the cameras arrived. They initially said sorry, its past the warranty of 1 year. Then I gave them my email address and they said yes you have a 2 year warranty.

PROS: 1. Connected to my 2.4 ghz WiFi easily and connected to my existing Cloud Edge app without issue. 2. Images and video are very clear and crisp both night and during the day. Camera typically connects to live very pretty fast. 3. Battery lasting about 60 days (have not yet tested in cold weather) using the longer 30 second recording setting. CONS: 1. Need to to use on the 2.4 ghz WIFI signal. Not a big deal, just need to be aware. I have a dual band mesh network which does not work on these devices so I have to have a separate 2.4 ghz wifi router just for my cameras. 2. Motion activation misses the first part of the movement (i.e. person is at the door by the time it takes for the motion to be activated and begin recording and generally misses part of person walking up to the door. This is typical of battery operated cameras that are not always recording like their ac powered counterparts. More expensive name brand cameras seem to have similar issues but cannot speak on them directly.

Can't ever get a hold of customer service. I was charged to download the app the app is free and if u have a SD card it records for free as well . I was told they would get back to me and fix this problem and they never responded back. Now I need help again trying to find my live feed once the camera died I recharged it and tried to troubleshoot shoot it asked customer service for help again and they still don't respond. It's been 2weeks now I've been trying to get a hold of them

I ordered two cameras to be shipped to my house. Only one camera arrived. And instead of being able to ship the second camera, Walmart had to give me a refund. Also, the camera that I did receive did not have an SD card. I am going to have to try and figure out how to get one and install it on my camera. Not very happy with this purchase. However, the camera is wonderful.
