used them a few times already. magnets hold them in place if you can find a pinch point with good clean metal.
I saw a video of this product being used with a 1 1/2 ton hydraulic floor jack to lift a 2021 Toyota Corolla. So I ordered it. It is made out of aluminum alloy and has a magnet inside a 1/2 inch wide groove that holds it to the car's lift point. It provides a larger, flat, lifting surface for your hydraulic floor jack. So there is no need to be concerned about the grooves in your hydraulic floor jack's lift point properly aligning with your car's lift point. That eliminates the possibility of the hydraulic floor jack lifting the car up in the air and then having the car shift on the hydraulic floor jack's lift point. A big plus! For the $10.00 or so that this tool costs, I would highly recommend that anyone who works on their car purchase one. Put it in your car so that you always have it available if you have a flat tire. Then you can safely remove your flat tire and install your spare. You never know when that will happen, but it will happen. Another thing that I like about this tool is this: Because it spreads the weight distribution of the hydraulic floor jack that you are using to lift the car over a broader area, you can place it a couple of inches from the car's lift point and jack the car up. Then you can place your jack stand directly under the car's lift point and remove your hydraulic floor jack. That provides you with a safer work environment.
Great product works as intended.Keeps your pinch welds from getting damaged.
