Igloo 1 Gallon Sports Plastic Beverage Jug with Hooks, Red

This beverage jug is bigger than I thought it would be. I know that it is a gallon jug, but for some reason I thought it looked smaller in the picture. The jug arrived in a decent amount of time, in pristine condition and packaged well. The color really pops off this jug as well; the red is very vibrant. The jug was super clean inside, although I suggest still washing it out before first use. The top screws and unscrews easily, and the seal holds very well, no leakage. I love the little spout on the top that you can open to pour your beverage out, it's not too big and clicks tight and secure. This jug, even with a beverage inside, is not heavy at all, very easy to carry. Overall, I would definitely recommend this jug for a trip to the beach or just a day sitting outside enjoying the weather and relaxing.

I'm a letter carrier for the post office. Whenever someone new comes in, I recommend this as their number one item to buy for the summer as most of our trucks don't have air conditioning. The hooks are perfect for hanging on your tray in your truck. The floor of the truck gets extremely hot, so if you put a cooler on the floor, the ice melts. If I fill this cooler halfway with ice and the other half with water, I still have ice by the end of 100° day. This is actually the second time that I've bought it because I'm hard on it at work. It fell out of my truck and one of the hooks broke off, but the price is so reasonable that I was able to buy another one.

Do I recommend this? Well of course, here's why. I needed a new water jug for work and also didn't want or need to spend that much money. I couldn't be happier, it's affordable keeps plenty of water cold enough throughout the day. It also has a clever handle, that allows it to be hung as shown in the picture.

This is one of the best jugs I have bought...It's sturdy, easy to open and carry. I even used it as a cooler for the kids small juices then added the ice on top...It kept the ice well and they were nice and cold...Look at Image!!

My son has stepped into the world of HVAC. Demonstrating his strength, and discipline, and his willingness to build a future with his own hands. he needs to keep cool. :)

Look, it keeps beverages cool for a little longer and it's very reasonably priced for a gallon container. I'm pretty bummed about it though. the design is not at all what I was expecting in the lid which probably contributed to its lack of ability to keep things quite as cool as I was hoping. The lid is a single layer plastic, I was kind of hoping that it would follow suit with the other larger beverage coolers that I've purchased through igloo and be at least an insulated lid and it is not. I am currently using this cooler for the first time in a horse barn with fans going, in the shade on a 90°F day. when I left my house around 11:00 I filled the thing half with ice and half with water from the fridge. It is 1:26 and all of my ice is gone and my water is still "cool-ish" but not for long.

Damaged when I had it delivered and received it from the local walmart. With the condition it is in, I do not think it was damaged during delivery. Will be returning it for a refund. Hopefully the next one I order does not get delivered damaged.

I expect these jugs to leak. EVENTUALLY however not during first use. This thing leaks all over everything just riding in the truck. Runs down my t shirt when I drink. It doesn't matter how soft or hard I turn the lid it leaks every time. I expected better from a world renowned cooler company. Now its just the new dog watering jug so that's a plus I suppose

The lid does not seal. the cap leaks the lid leaks and it's top heavy when full so it just falls over in your car every time you go around a turn I cannot believe igloo allows their name to be put on this piece of garbage. This is absolute complete garbage!

Damaged item given to me. Unacceptable.
