Igloo 22oz Stainless Camp Tumbler Blue

I've been struggling to find a good tumbler for water, up until I got ahold of the Igloo Stainless Steel Camp White Tumbler. All of my other ones didn't have water tight lids, always leading to the inevitable spills. Luckily, it's always just been water, but wiping up water in the car, off my desk, or off the couch was a getting a bit old - none of the lids sealed very well. Lo and behold, the Igloo tumbler has a screw-on lid with a water tight flip cover to secure the drinking spout. The fact that the lid screws on makes the lid much less prone to spills and leaks, a nice change from the other snap-on lids for my other tumblers. The smooth outside surface of the tumbler makes it easy to handle; the mouth of the tumbler is nice and wide, making it easy to add ice from my refrigerator; the stainless steel interior makes it easy to keep it clean. Finally, the 22 ounce size is ample carrying capacity to keep me hydrated throughout my day. In the future, I can imagine decorating the tumbler with stickers or permanent markers, another nice feature that allows me to customize it to suit my mood and personality. I really like this tumbler and will be using it daily from now on!

This tumbler is such a beautiful bright red color! Without the lid, it stands about 7 1/2” high and it has a 22oz capacity. And it truly is water-tight! No matter what I did, the liquid did not spill out. It has a nice, large opening at the top with a clear lid so filling it with ice cubes was super easy & I like being able to see the beverage inside the tumbler when you look down thru the lid. I also like the flip-top opening. You could either use a straw to drink or simply sip straight from the tumbler. And the flip-top lid snaps in place when closed and fits fairly snugly in place when opened. I also tested how long it truly kept hot beverages hot and cold beverages cold. I first filled it with ice cold water and lots of ice. After five hours it still had most of the ice. I checked it again after a total of nine hours and there was still a good bit of ice. I then tried the hot beverage test. I filled it with boiling hot water and after three hours it was still so hot I would've drunk it had it been a cup of hot coffee or hot tea without having to reheat it. And for me that's really a big deal because I like my hot coffee or hot tea piping hot!! I checked it again after a total of five hours and it was fairly warm but I would've definitely had to reheat that hot beverage. So in my opinion it doesn't truly keep the hot beverage hot for seven hours or keep the cold beverage cold for 14 hours as indicated on the tag but none of the tumblers I've used EVER keep your beverage truly hot or cold as long as the manufacturer indicates. In that respect, this tumbler works as well as most do. Overall I REALLY like this gorgeous red tumbler and would highly recommend it.

I really like this tumbler. The white color is so clean and makes my water even more refreshing! I love that the lid is clear so I can see my drink inside of the tumbler. The lid is also a screw top, not just a push on. That means more security (no leaks) and longevity (no soft plastic to wear out or get yellowed in the dishwasher). As well, the lid has the flip top with extra NO LEAK protection via the black soft plastic tab (see photo). The tumbler is quite slender to hold 22 ounces which I also like. I do recommend!

i love the igloo drink tumbler . it will hold a hot starbucks venti for over 4 hours still pippin hot . Iced drinks much longer but only the grande or the venti with less ice. The color red is beautiful and classy .Its slim and fit nicely in your hand and stable . Also easy to clean and the lid is spill proof .

This is a perfect insulated cup to keep things hot or cold. Use it almost daily with coffee and in the afternoon with a ice cold beverage. Keeps it hot for hours and cold for hours. I stays without melting. Works really well and would recommend it to anyone.

The 22 Oz. SS Camp Tum Blue tumbler is nice. Because of its 22 oz. size, you can satisfy the recommendation of drinking at least two of the eight glasses [eight oz. each] a day. Personally, I fill up this tumbler at home and take it to my office and refill it continuously during the work day and by 4:00 PM, I have completed 6-7 glasses and drink the remaining when I get home. The only reason I didn't give this a 5-star rating is that I would've preferred the top to have a sort of spout to drink from because the flip leaks sometimes. Also, I would've wished the tumbler to be 24 oz. so it would've provided three 8oz [or three glasses] of liquid instead of 22 oz which seems a bit off - in my way of thinking anyway. However, with all that said, I do like it and can recommend buying it regardles because Igloo products are always well made.

This igloo tumbler keeps my coffee warm for quite some time. I'm very happy about that. I like that it's easy to hold and it does fit in my car cup holder. The only thing I don't like about it is the flip top is hard to open for me. I have arthritis and it is actually hard to "flip" open. It may just be because of my arthritis, but it may be that way for others, so just be warned. Otherwise, I do like it.

The cup looks nice, but that is where it ends. If you put HOT beverages in here and secure the top so it does not leak...BEWARD! Not even a person with super hero strength can remove the top. It seals tighter than commercially prepared packaging. In order to remove the top, the cup MUST BE SOAKED IN ICE WATER and then it still requires a person of considerable strength to remove it. JUST AWFUL!

The clear plastic lid does have a plasticy odor when sipping. The odor still eminated after the lid was taken off for drinking. The lid is listed as spill proof but the sip spout leaks in a double stream, if the Igloo tumbler is tipped over or turned upside down, thus, there is not a tight closed seal for heat not to escaping or liquid leaking out. The metal stainless steel rim at the top also gets warm/hot to the touch depending on your heat threshold.  It did not seem to be noticeable on my lower lip when drinking, since my lip stayed on the plastic lid while sipping.     When using the Igloo tumbler for a hot brew, on first pour of boiling water for tea it was 206 degrees F. Two hours later it was 173 degrees F, which was lukewarm for me, which was not hot enough. I like it hot and can start slurping after the tea is steeped almost right after first pour.  (I drink hot tea 5 times a day out of insulated vessels to keep the tea constantly hot.) The heat capacity of the Igloo 22 oz camp tumbler will depend on your temperature threshold.  Standard lukewarm temperature is rated at 100 to 110 degrees F (too cold for me).  If you are a dishwasher  person, (like to put everything in the dishwasher) this Igloo stainless steel 22 oz camp tumbler can be put in the dishwasher, which is out of the ordinary for a stainless steel vessel.

I used this once and the lid appears to be where it wants to stay forever. It was impossible to remove. I am shocked that Igloo would continue to sell such a defective item. Looking through the reviews, it appears this problem has been ongoing for a very long time. It's wrong to continue to sell a product known to be defective. So disappointed.
