This cooler has the exact specs of a Yeti only without the price tag. I packed enough food for 11 days, through some ice in it and had it loaded on a C130 for an 7 and a half hour flight. We landed and there wasn't even a melted ice cube. Great cooler, great VALUE!
Purchased this cooler just in time for a 4 day fishing trip. Put ice in it on Thursday morning along with drinks and food. Came home late Sunday and still had ice in it. Also purchased the basket that fits in it to keep things dry. The handles are better than the rope type. Great cooler, does a good job, perfect size for travel, fishing and hunting.
Recently purchased this cooler for $179 after doing a lot of research vs. the big names in the luxury cooler market, using my Sam's Club points to pay for most of it. Am very impressed with the features including a very large drain plug which is connected to the cooler, the lid rubber tie down straps and the large handles. It has serious weight to it which makes sense given its ice retention capabilities. This ranked right up there with the Yeti in ice retention so anxious to try it on my upcoming Florida trip.
This is a well-built well insulated heavy duty cooler at a fraction of the cost of all other molded coolers excellent value. Held ice for six days as a test so the cooler was only opened twice a day to view what was left of the contents.
I am a local charter captain and bought one for my clients. I loved it so much I had to get a second one for the boat! Very durable and very cost effective! It does everything that the more expensive competitors can do!
I have only used it once in the month i have owned it. With my old cooler I would have to buy new ice every day. With this cooler the ice lasted 4 days. I am happy with my purchase. The one thing that surprised me was how heavy this cooler is. Much heavier than a regular cooler.
I bought this cooler last month.Ifound it to be thoughtfully designed and sturdy. The rubber catches are less likely to break than the older designs. The cooler is quite heavy due to the rotomold plastic. The drain plug is large and attached by a chain. The cooler, however does not live up to the claim that it compares to the Yet I as far as ice retention.Unless I am going very long distances for a long time, the ability to hold ice is inconsequential. For the price, this cooler is well worth the money.
Nice cooler but it leaks at the drain plug!! It's fine for the back of the truck but I can't put it in our Jeep without soaking the carpet... I have purchased over 20 igloo coolers over the years and this is the only one I've had trouble with... I still think they are good products I think I just got a bad one... I'm enclosing a picture of it leaking but it's hard to tell from the picture.
I bought this a Month ago and I am not happy with it at all. It does not keep ice like it says. I did everything it said. Take the ice chest inside and put a bag of ice in it. By morning time you don't it out and put new ice in it and it is suppose to last 4 to 5 days. NOT, 2 days top. Not a good product
Love the cooler but i have a problem with it. It leaks in two different locations, it has a small hole on the interior where the drainhole starts seems like a construction flaw, it also has a slow drip from the drain plug. Please respond and help me resolve this matter. An otherwise happy camper Al PS: have a nice day
