After reading many reviews the big complaint was cleaning and keeping sanitary so knowing it was for my daughter I didn't want to have it not clean. I purchased this one because of size but mostly it SELF CLEANS! This will be perfect when she has company and want to entertain and have enough ice

It took about 5 hours of running to fill ice bin in freezer. I just make ice in 1 day and use as needed it's been a week and I still have ice. Very simple to use the red lights tell you what you need when they come on . Easy peasy

I saw this o America's Test Kitchen where they rated it best in the affordability category. I find it lives up to the recommendation.

I had a Frigidaire and it quit working. I had the Walmart warranty. The only equal to cost replacement was this one. This machine has trouble keeping up with quick ice production and fan very noisy.

Does what it's intended to do

It stopped working a couple of months after I bought it. I did everything suggested in the manual and nothing works. It's now just sitting on my countertop doing nothing.
