Igloo Quart Cooler with Cool Riser Technology

I was very disappointed to spend that much on a cooler for ice to only last a day on the back of a truck with a truck bed cover over the cooler. We will continue spending the extra money on the bigger brand coolers.

This cooler is deceptively big. We have a smaller car (Toyota Camry) and we needed something that could hold a weekend's worth of drinks but still fit in our trunk with room for bags. This cooler fit the bill perfectly. Fits in the trunk well and plenty of space for a couple of suitcases. It holds the ice extremely well in the Kansas 90 degree heat in the trunk too!

Just received my BMX-52 Cooler 4 days ago and I have not used it yet but I am very impressed with the look and quality of the cooler. Handles are very comfortable. I'm sure I will be very happy with it since all of my previous coolers were very cheaply made coolers. This BMX-52 is definitely not in that category.

The warmest the outside temp got on my ice test was 83*. I only opened cooler once per day to check on ice and by the 3rd day it was completely melted. Igloo says last for 5 days. Not on my watch though. Not happy. I knew I should have spent a little extra money and got the Yeti...

The cooler is light weight, and the price is good compared to the big expensive brand names. It only keeps ice for a day and a half. I was hoping I could fill it once Saturday AM for the weekend at the beach, but no way it makes it till the end of the day Sunday. But for the cost, it is good.

I ordered two yellow 52qt in color, I was holding off on posting a comment, I've emailed igloo on the two coolers but they both leak at the drain, I bought these to keep in my vehicles, I like them, we always used igloo in my concessions, have probably 25 of the large chest coolers they take a beating, this makes me disappointed in craftsmanship look good but leak..

Love the looks of the cooler. Think it'll be great. Only thing I'd like changed is to be able to have it strapped down without having to go over the lid. It's already strapped down to the bed of the SXS but to get into it at a pitstop, you have to undo the strap to open the lid.

Bought this cooler specifically for tubing on The Guadalupe River in Texas. It is the perfect size for the tubes. We spent 8 hours on the river in 100 degree temps. It's now two o'clock in the afternoon the next day back home in Houston and I still have about a third of the ice I started out with the prior day on the river. I'd say that would be a giant success! I am impressed with the outstanding performance of the BMX 52. Remember, if you don't want to give away all your beer and water on the river... don't forget to bungee cord the lid of your cooler because it will flip on you...eventually. Just a fact. The cooler looks nice. We liked the handles, and also the locks, to prevent critters and leaks. But it did not seem to keep ice like it stated. We were in the woods. No direct sunlight, the cooler was under an easy up as well. It was not blistering hot either, and we still had to buy ice daily. Otherwise good cooler

Good cooler, solid and feels well built. I can't speak to the 5 days holding ice, but we did just take it on a 3 day 2 night trip and it held ice well, kept everything cold for the duration of our trip. I got this because my Igloo Marine is only 36 quarts and we needed something bigger for multi day trips. Overall I'm happy with the purchase and it is about 1/3 the cost of Yeti and Rtic.
