Overall, I was very impressed with the ease of use! I was able to both cook and heat the area without the fear of starting a major forest fire. Looking forward to getting more road time with the can. PS make sure that you buy the lava rocks and lighter!

This is my second fire can so no matter what I have one along to light the way with warmth ! Whether camping or just out on a day trip it's always handy !

I live in Texas and have noticed more often than not the state parks have burn bans in place when we go camping. The FireCan will allow us to bring back the most fun part of camping... sitting around the fire at night and making smores.

Be it on the deck at home or out Boondocking, these firecans are perfect! The summer days in Oregon can get hot, but the nights cool off nicely. If you want to enjoy the night a bit longer, you can fire up the Ignik firecan so easily! No firewood, no smoke in eyes, and you don't smell like a fire pit the next morning. Great invention and environmentally friendly!!

Recently camped high in the Sawtooth's. We're used to burn bans but usually it's pretty hot. This trip it was cool and rainy. The firecan made the trip! Instead of being curled up in our tent and sleeping bags, we turned on the firecan and enjoyed the afternoon/evening under a shade wing. We even got to see river otters right across from us! Definitely recommending it to all our friends. We did add lava rocks to help spread the flames. Extra fun, Idaho has lots of ancient lava flows to find good lava rocks!

Ignik FireCan Portable Fire Pit was the ideal solution to some concerns I had with my current propane fire pit. There was nothing wrong with the fire pit I have now, which is a basic, small, bowl-shaped unit. But it wasn't as small as the FireCan. Because I just bought a Class C RV with limited cargo carrying capacity, I had to find something that was lighter in weight and more compact. FireCan fit the bill perfectly! I added lava rocks that I bought at a local home improvement store. The rocks make it look better with more natural flames. They also help retain the heat longer. The FireCan delivers a clean, smokeless flame with comfy warmth and a relaxing campfire atmosphere. Plus it comes with a lifetime guarantee, which is really a good deal. I have only two criticisms. I wish the regulator knob had a definite “click off” feel because in the dark it is difficult to see the on/off arrows printed on the dial. Also, it would be great if the lava rocks were included in the box so you wouldn't have to make a separate purchase. Those two issues aside, you won't be disappointed if you buy the Ignik FireCan Portable Fire Pit. I'm looking forward to many, many years of enjoyment.

We bought our Ignik Firecan to use in our Class B camping van. Space is at a premium in these vans so the small size and packable shape were big selling points for us. The common round fire pits are too big and bulky to fit easily in our van. We added some volcanic rock which provided some soft diffusion for the flame. Highly recommended. It's great for those cool nights where you want to stay a bit outside without the hassle and smoke of a wood fire. We live in an area with fire restrictions that extend almost year-round, so this will come in handy for cool nights at home.

We wanted a small fire pit to use both at a campsite and on a small patio table at home. The FireCan serves both purposes beautifully. On a cool evening at a Sierra campground, the FireCan provided plenty of warmth as we sat outside the tent watching the sunset fade to darkness. I'm at home now with the FireCan warming the patio table where I am writing. The unit is very sturdy, quick to setup and takedown, packs into itself neatly, and just works well. We added some FireRocks and enjoy how they disperse the flames, but the FireCan worked just fine without them. We considered this a good purchase the meets, and exceeds, our expectations.

Alaska or Bust. We love pulling into a campsite and having a fire asap. NO SMOKEY CLOTHS. We like having our Ignik on the picnic table between us warming our hands and hearts and watching the flames. I can connect it up to my Rv propane accessory by hose or a small tank.

Sturdy. Well constructed. Looks nice. For all the money I spent on the fire can, rocks and propane tank it is a huge letdown. There is no radiant heat at all. You have to huddle up real close and catch the heat rising up off the top of the unit. Not worth it at all. I bought a propane heater attachment at a fraction of the cost and it is warmer than the fire can. Save your money and don't buy this gimmick. Very disappointing.
