Speakers do not recharge per solar as advertised, battery lasts approximately 3 hours before the low battery starts coming on regardless of whether it's the sun or not. I bought and returned two other sets of speakers looking for a specific one that I had before made by Ion that were really good. This one seem to be the exact same replacement for Ion but the battery and the solar is subpar to say the least. Don't waste your money!!!!!!

I ordered these about 2 years ago as a birthday present for my dad. He went to turn them on this spring and the speakers were filled with water. He keeps them outside on their patio because they say “outdoor” speakers and they're shaped liked rocks. Well, rain water gets into the speakers over time and they shorted out. He emptied almost an 8z bottle of water from each speaker and poured it out and both speakers are fried. It's really disappointing because they said they're outdoor speakers on the product listing and they're also shaped like rocks so they can sit outside. But they're not waterproof and they apparently have to come inside every time you use it, so it's not an outdoor speaker at all. Really disappointed.
