I have tried several smart scales over the years and the iHome WiFi Digital Scale is by far the best I have used. Setup was quick and effortless. The scale connected to my home WiFi in minutes without the need to open the app every time I step on it. I love that it automatically syncs my weight and BMI data to my phone without any hassle. so far so good! I've been using this scale for a couple of weeks now %26 its doing good. I saw a review saying that only 1 person could use it because of the way the data uploads but either they have fixed that or the other person just couldn't figure it out. on the app, it gives you the option to add another person. Your info is uploaded very quickly to the app after you step on it so you don't have to stand there forever. thats one of the best parts for me!

Easy to connect to Bluetooth on my phone, but only works with 2.4 GHz WiFi; it does not work with 5 GHz WiFi. As a result, the WiFi feature is useless to me. I should have just purchased the Bluetooth version instead of this more expensive WiFi version.

The only issue I have is that I can't connect it to my Wi-Fi because it doesn't work with 5G. I apparently didn't pay attention to that when I bought it so my bad but I'm not sure why they don't make it to work with any Wi-Fi. I'm not taking it back though because the product still works.

I just got the scale, I have not fully tested it yet. So I am giving it 3/5 stars. Home Smart Wi-Fi Scale Model # 521SWWM1BBL A card that came with iTunes says: Must register within 7 Days of receiving product to Receive a 5-year replacement warranty. So I am registering it now but have not had a chance to use it. I put a 120 ounce plastic container on the scale. It said it weighs 8.1 pounds (129.6 ounces) The empty container weighs 3.2 ounces. 129.6 - 3.2 = 126.4 ounces. According to those measurements the scale is off by 6.4 ounces. Is there a way to calibrate the scale? Thanks.

Seems to be accurate and consistent, easy to use. It's a scale, I don't like the subscription requirement to use the app, especially since it gets my weight everyday but I don't need all that other bioinformatics daily. Maybe once every month max, probably not even that often. Would have appreciated that information being easily visible on the box prior to my purchase. Without the subscription it's literally just a scale.

would not connect to my 5g internet, so it connects to bluetooth, which was just an inconvenience, but i didn't think it would connect at all. it said in the instructions inside the box, but not in any details or descriptions on the website. the information it provides is just your numbers, no details whether they're good or bad, with the exception of your weight being in red, yellow, or green. i thought I'd get more feedback, so I'm disappointed.

The app for this smart scale is really poor, bare-bones; in the upper right of the screen there is even overlapping text. While the weight reading itself may be accurate, I don't believe some of the other readings are. I had a Renpho scale that died, but I believe its readings were more accurate than this iHome. Renpho had my visceral fat much higher, and considering my weight that is the more likely reading. Besides that, all the other measurements were a great deal off compared to the Renpho. The iHome kept saying that my fat weight and nonfat weight were exactly evenly divided, even after losing weight. This seems very unlikely! This scale does not measure skeletal muscle. The reason I tried this iHome is because it has a warranty, whereas the Renpho died after 6 months and did not have a warranty. I found another highly rated brand that has a warranty, so this will be returned.

All of the one star reviews are accurate; it is impossible to get this device to regularly sync to Apple Health. I've reset the scale, reinstalled the Apple, toggled permissions on and off in the app and in Apple Health to no avail. Their customer support never responded to emails as well. I ended up returning the item.

Did not connect to app, display kept timing out. I even changed the batteries and redownloaded the app. Did not read my weight either which was most disappointing as I couldn't use it even without the app. Reading other reviews this appears to be a common experience.
