Great water alarm
Great little alarm system, easy to set up and good price. You do need wi-fi in your residence and a smart phone. Have place 3 feet from hot water heater.

Water leak alarm
Cord could be longer if used for two different areas. Alarm beep could be louder. Otherwise works as designed.

Loses communication constantly
We've had it about a month and it constantly gets disconnected and we have to physically press the button. I don't trust that it will work and don't believe it will alarm us when there is a leak since it is constantly disconnected.

No support for Android phones
Had to return it because it didn't work with my android phone. Should have read the reviews more closely. Customer service is atrocious. I reported the problem and SAS told I'd get a response in 24 hours. Four days later and I'm still waiting.
