Plastic and unsafe
Please do yourself a favor and don't buy these. They are mainly plastic with thumb screw fasteners that come a part when trying to tighten. I got these to fix kayak carriers to. To try to carry two, even 50 lb, kayaks would be a risk in killing someone behind you. I should've known by the price that I was getting junk. They have a return policy only if you don't unbox. Basically, if you unbox them to figure out if they're junk, you can no longer return them. Classic Walmart junk !!!! Don't even know why I tried. I wouldn't trust these to carry an empty plastic tote.

Racks
Disappointed the plastic screw tops come off easy and you need to use wrench to secure. Brackets don't appear to be level.
