Great price and real deal!

I prefer a super thin/liquidy kind of foundation. This one is not thick at all. It rubs in well if you like to use your fingers. I smoothed it out with a blender brush afterwards. It does not look cakey and feels really good on my skin. I would say this is not a full coverage kind of foundation. It leaves your skin looking natural with a tint. I have a fair complexion and the color matched me with Tavarua SF2.

It took a fair amount of emailing with three Ilia beauty consultants to find the best shade match, as I live in Central America and can't return products that don't work out, but we finally got there. Getting their explanations of why they recommended the color they chose was very helpful - much more so than the photos on the website page. My skin is light/medium neutral with slightly warm undertones, and they recommended SF5 Salina. I thought it would be too light, but no, it looks perfect. This is a serum foundation, so it's light and easy to spread, but does smooth out the complexion and looks completely natural. I also appreciate the clean skin care ingredients included in this product, which is what brought me to the Ilia website in the first place.

All of the skin tones are too yellow. I need something with a little pinker base. The spf tinted sun screen in the Rendeavous color is perfect. I wish you made that color in the foundation;

I have very sensitive skin and am prone to breakouts with new products. Have been using this one without a single issue. Great product, great price! Highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this when I will be applying more make-up for evening. It gives good coverage, truly evening out color. I don't need to cover any "local" spots or rings, but it absolutely provides a very clean canvas for other colors/methods. For me, with dryer aging skin, it requires a very good moisture base underneath, but I have not needed any kind of powder for matting/evening out on top.I also like having a non-SPF option, even though ILIA's SPF-options are zink based, which is good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This serum foundation goes on light and feels just like a second skin. It doesn't settle into fine lines and it covers moderately. You can build it for additional coverage - but I like the natural finish of just a basic application.
