iLive HDMI DVD Player with HD Upconvert, DH300BI

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I missed having a DVD player in the house! This is a thin and lightweight DVD player that doesn't take up much room to use. It's easy to hook up with the HDMI cable. The sound and video are very high quality. I had no issues with the movies I've watched on it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since I still have an analog TV, I needed a DVD player w/the cables and this one works fine. The only drawback to this particular brand and model is that the machine doesn't keep where you left off when you put it on hold and turn it off -- like my other 2 different brands of DVD players did. Otherwise, it's fine.

Larger scenes have less definition, but this may be a result of DVD limitations more than the player. It runs quietly and set-up via HDMI was simple. Less than 5 minutes and we were watching movies. Overall good product so far.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nothing fancy but does what i need it to do. I needed a DVD player to rewatch GOT and it did the job. Nice and sleek which is what i needed. Nothing bulky or that would take a bunch of space so im happy with it. Played the dvds good picture quality was good and the remote it came with is handy buttons are a bit small but i like that its not bulky too. It was easy to connect i used my own hdmi cable since it doesnt come with one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dvd player was super easy to install within minutes. works great. Four buttons power, open/close, stop and play/pause - perfect. There are also lots of configuration options available on remote control. It's lightweight and portable. The only downside is that the remote has too many and too small of buttons and no backlighting. It also does not come with batteries. For having a theater effect at home, the issue is the remote control. Also, for HDMI output, you will need to buy another cable comaptible with it. But else, so far, everything works fine. Look forward to several years of use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this on a whim and read conversion thinking it was designed for converting to a large screen TV. Unfortunately it does not display anything larger than a small laptop screen size despite making all the necessary changes in the settings.
