iLive Portable Bluetooth Boombox with FM Radio, IBC233B

I got this for my grandson for Christmas. He loves that he can listen to the local radio stations, can play CDs on it and use it as a speaker when listening to music on his phone. Good value.

Pretty pricey, still haven’t tried it bc I need to get batteries. Which should come with things like this or at least the option/reminder to add to order.

I only bought this to have a way to play mp3s using bluetooth. Who listens to CDs or the radio these days? Not me. I never tried the CD player nor the radio, so I have no idea if they even work. But the bluetooth works great and is easy to use. I also love the fact that it comes with an AC cord, so you just plug it in and forget about it. No need to charge it up like most bluetooth speakers. The only problem is that the volume is not super loud. This is fine for a small room or if you are using it at your desk, but this would not work well outside or in a big or noisy room. You would not be able to hear it.

All depends on how loud you wanna "boom". On loud volume the sound distorts. Lower is ok. Otherwise it's fine.

Advertising AM/FM. No AM. Sound quality is ok for the price. It's pretty cheaply made, but does the job.

This is the second time I purchased the ILive Boombox. The first one said there was a telescopic antenna and this has a picture on an antenna on the back of the unit. Both times there was no antenna. I work in a noisey building and the sound was good but I could only pick up one station. I can not use a radio if it only can play one station.

I was very pleased with the blue tooth feature..it worked perfectly. But, my main reason for purchasing this product was to play my CDs. All was fine for the first 10 minutes...then the noise began and shortly after all sound came to an end. I'm returning it.

I purchased this Boom Box to listen to my CDs. It worked real well for the first day I had it. The next day I put a CD in it, it didn't work at all. Nothing worked on it. So I took it back to Wal-Mart.

It stopped working not terribly long after I received it.
