I ordered the turntable as a replacement for an all-in-one record player I purchased about five years ago, and which finally gave up the ghost (motor failed) after being played for multiple hours most days. I selected it due to its having an Audio Technica cartridge rather than the super cheap ones most affordable turntables have, and being able to play 78s (which I literally have a couple thousand of). Being able to play 78s a rarity in better grade turntables, and the needle needed for playing 78s is readily available online. The first unit I received was defective (no audio), and the technical support person I spoke to recommend that I return it to Walmart. I was debating whether I should order a replacement of the same model or get my money back. I ended up ordering the replacement (which is a very slick process - I was very impressed that Walmart shipped me a replacement before they had received the defective one) and I am very glad I did. The sound is phenomenal, and on par with much more expensive units from the past. I was particularly surprised by the speakers which look a bit cheap but are much better sounding than I would have guessed based on the appearance. My only complaint is that the manual doesn't discuss replacing the needle or state which cartridge it uses. I am assuming it is an Audio Technical AT 3600L but I will find out when my needle for playing 78s arrives...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a bit ago, and it has worked amazing! The speakers sound great and there was no problem with running the tracks! 10/10 Recommend.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works well. Clear sound and easy to function. Sleek design
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this product as a birthday gift. Its much better than the other one I had before, it doesn't skip my records and you can change the weight of the stylus, speed of the record, whether you want to use speakers or not, and it you want to use bluetooth.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just got this wonderful unit as a gift. It was easy and quick to assemble and the listening quality was FANTASTIC! I High recommend and I am so satisfied with it so far. I look forward to using it a lot.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this turntable via a rewards program at my employer. The product and speakers were well-protected in heavy duty Styrofoam in the box. Assembly was mostly easy and clear from the provided instructions. My only gripe is that it would have been useful to have a diagram about installing/reattaching the stylus. As I was removing the plastic protector on the stylus, it came off the tonearm and I had some difficulty in figuring out how to reattach it without damaging it. After I sorted this out and did a test playthrough, the turntable produced beautiful sound from the record.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Set this up today and works and sounds great other than the lever to raise the tone arm. It seems to be not working properly so I can't use that feature.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this turntable yesterday... (Last time I bought one was in 1986 and it was a Pioneer and it lasted MANY years) This excited me because it didnt need an amp and I figured I could set it up in one shot. Everything looked and worked great, but the worst thing that could happen, happened. It wont keep a steady speed!
