Imodium is the only thing that works for me. It works fast, and usually after only the first dose. I am 71 years old, and have several conditions, that require me to be on several medications. I have never had a bad reaction with Imodium. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that they are so hard to get out of the package. And they are also very hard to swallow, and taste terrible when it sticks to the back of your tongue. It would be great of they were coated or made into jelly.

I bought the gels hoping the pills would be easier to access. Nope. Just as hard to get out of the package as the little white ones. They seem to work the same.

It is next to impossible to get the soft gels out of the wrappers. Ones needs a scisssor to cut the wrapper real close to the pill and use care so the pill doesn't get cut. The medicine works well once you get to take it.

I have suffered from Chronic Idiopathic Constipation for my entire adult life. CIC simply refers to not receiv- ing the signals from the brain, therefore I have had to take a laxative in order to have bowel movements. Depending on the type and strength of laxative, some will pass a great amount of stool and water, causing what resembles diarrhea. I chose the laxative type that goes into the bloodstream and causes me to have a more "cleansing" effect. i have to take between two and four Immodium softgels to end the "cleansing". My only complaint is how long I have to wait for the Immodium to start working. Also, the packaging for the white pills and softgels are extremely difficult to open.

very disappointed. I ordered 24 tablets NOT soft gels. If I order something I do not want any substitutions. I have to take this for medical reasons and only the tablets work for me.
